Restaurant Boom Split — Restaurant in Grad Split

We were recommended that this restaurant's seafood soup was worth trying. However, this has made our worst-ever experience. This restaurant has only outdoor tables and we were in the cold windy weather waiting for over one hour, just because the waiter didn’t warn us about the long cooking time even though he knew that three tables in front of us had ordered seafood soup too. When the soup was finally served, the portion was less than the one shown on the website, with less prawns, over-cooked and with almost no prawn meat inside , and a lot of potatoes, so it felt like we were left with not enough ingredients to make it work for us. At the end, the waiter said that he had warned us (and he hadn't!) and that he didn't know we were going to order seafood soup when we sat down. Does that have anything to do with reminding us of the long wait and serving us seafood soup with leftover...

Amazing food! We ordered the grilled squid & grilled seabass with table wine. It came with a side of roasted veggies (zucchini, peppers) and Rocket salad with sliced boiled potatoes. The food was seasoned so well we enjoyed it. The knife was like a butter knife so I struggled a little bit to cut through but was no issue. Wine was also decent(average), 1L for 22 euros it went well with the food. Highly recommended and will be back! There is only outside table seating and didn't see the restaurant sign the first time we walked and the restroom is a bit questionable. But the atmosphere was honestly really great here. It wasnt an issue for us because it was shaded & a bit cooler by the time we came for dinner but if there was full sunlight there arent any shade. Do book in advance as it...

Probably the best meal I've eaten in my trip to Split. The grilled sea bass served on a bed of grilled zucchini and potato arugula salad was superb. It cannot get more fresh than this. Simply seasoned with salt and Croatian olive oil, it was succulent, tender, tasting like the ocean in the best possible way. Ante got us a table immediately even when it was full and was a wonderful, thoughtful server. Get the salted anchovies, you will love them. His mom made the veal and my husband devoured them. Very friendly and ended our meal with a cherry liqueur on the house. Reasonably priced for such tasty cuisine and service. I will visit again...
