Dhaba Beas is a vegetarian Indian opposite the rotating and reflective sculpture of writer Franz Kafka. Once inside take a metal tray called a thali that has separate compartments and help yourself to the different selections of food on offer. At the till your thali is put on scales and you are charged by the weight, although some food items are charged individually which I was not aware of.
From the food we selected I really enjoyed the pan fried rice noodles with tofu, rice paper roll, cannelloni and paneer curry with rice. What I didn't enjoy was the chickpea curry, the potato, pea and cauliflower curry and the samosa, it was awful no taste or flavour, just a dry bland potato filling encased in pastry. Although the green chutney looked really appetizing it was tasteless. Green chutney is usually mint or coriander based with the addition of chilli but none of these flavours were present.

Still serve good quality food consistently, sit-in or take-away, free green tea or water at your disposal. Bathrooms available on site and accepts card payments.
