This is the one. When walking in, a somewhat grumpy guy will take your order. There’s a lot of standing room in the entryway and it’s in a touristy part of town so they presumably see a lot of walk ins. First things first - yes, it’s cash; yes, it’s basically a single beer option. You’re in an old school Czech pub. That’s what there is. I sat down as literally the only customer, and over the evening the (waitress/landlady?) offered to take my picture as I was taking photos of the pub. A local saw me trying to translate the menu on the wall and offered his help. The landlady then took me to the fridge to show me what the food was, where I picked it out. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. It’s amazing.

Cool place in the wall it's hard to see that if they don't play live music, one of the only cozy places left in the city which is loosing culture and everything because of large amount of tourists. The were playing kind of rock music with guitars and I relay enjoyed moments when standing there drinking and listening and watching pictures on the walls without fancy decorations which you can find these days in all touristic cuties like Prague. I'm going to stop writing about local places because they will turn to touristic places in short time

A great, nicely tapped beer - and that's pretty much the only good thing you can say about it. I know it's considered traditional, but if traditional means this, I don't really see a use for it. It's a tiny pub, so you can't really sit, and have to stand - inside, if you're lucky, or outside. It's so overcrowded with drunk people, and it was so so unpleasant to go through them with so many of them trying to grab me. The bartenders were also drunk. If you wanna try it, have one quick beer, but it's not good for a visit longer than that.

Only ordered the beer, we don’t get a chance to order any food though we were starving that time, cause there’s no menu at all! And you drink whatever the bartender gave you, and we were terrified as we don’t know why he seems so pissed off( basically like smash the beer on the table) No English speaker no service no seats not friendly to international people who don’t speak or understand their language To be fair Beer was good but there’s nothing more you can expect. Plus they don’t accept credit card and if you gave euro they charge a definitely higher exchange rate. Very awful experience. Anyway a place I won’t visit anymore and won’t recommend to...

After reading all the good reviews I decided to go with my girlfriend to this place. We went inside and I wasn´t sure if i have to get my beer myself, as it is a common thing in czech republic. So we bought it and wanted to go inside. At this point the barkeeper with a mustache started to offend me and screamed that I can´t take my beer inside. That wasn´t a problem for me at all, so I explained to him that I simply didn´t knew that and we will drink our beers where we are supposed to. But he continued with his offendings and acted in the rudest way i have ever seen. So we emptied our glases and went out.

This was my worst experience in a czech...
