Concordia Ristorante & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Prague

I’ll say that I am very fussy and a perfectionist about Italian cuisine so you’re welcome to ignore me but my review would be that there is room for improvement when it comes to food (as in carbonara made on too much heat so it had a chunk of scrambled eggs in it, or that big pieces of crunchy bacon, however tasty, aren’t something an Italian place should be putting in it), but the place looks great, it’s fancy but also cozy, and the waitress was super nice so I’ll give them that. The only I thing I was really sour about was the “flat white” which had nothing to do with a flat white or coffee for that matter. But like I said, the waitress was super nice about it, she had some explanations, she didn’t charge it, and the food was tasty so I wouldn’t say I won’t ever come back. I just won’t order a flat white and if you’re really fussy about how Italian food should look, maybe lower your expectations. Ive been coming to concordia for lunch menu at least 2x a month for the last 4 months. Today I took my mom and brother since they were visiting. And 2 ordered lunch menu and my brother from reg. Menu. They gave us bread and thought wow I guess if you order from normal menu you get bread ok. At the end I get charged 147 czk and the girls response was “is for oil and bread” First of all I didnt order it and she didnt ask if we wanted it. I couldve just said no and thats it… i didnt fight since I was inviting my mom didnt want to make her feel bad. But for sure last time I am coming here. Charging things with no freaking sense!? Ok the last two times I went there: last time I was speaking French with my colleague so they tried to charge me a "couvert" fee when I paid, which they never charge when I am with my Czech collegues. Ok they magically waved that fee when I pointed this out. Fine. And today we went there (with the said collegues) and not only did we wait 45 minutes for our meal but then I received my plate of "pork medallion with potatoes'... without meat. I received a plate of potatoes with the sauce. I went to ask them for the medallions and they took my plate laughing. No apologies, no word like we will fix it in a second; Just laughed.
