Hana Sushi House — Restaurant in Prague

The most wonderful & authentic sushi place in Prague. I have 20 visits there, mostly lunch time but a few for dinner as well.

Sushi is great, all types have a very generous amount of fish. All kinds of fish are always fresh and tasty. Other dishes like gyoza, unagidon are also really good if you're not fan of raw fish.

Lunch menu is limited to 3 sets, but quality and presentation is high and very consistent throughout the weeks. I also really like miso soup here, it's just a starter, but always full of taste and contents.

Staff is extremely polite and friendly. Interior is nice and minimalistic, music is non-intrusive but familiar tunes from Japan/movies/anime give it a cozy vibe.

Hana Sushi House has a truly unique vibe you WON’T find anywhere else in Prague. The atmosphere is terrific, very cozy, and don’t even get me started on the food! Simply spectacular… fresh fish, the rice is perfectly acidic and you have a lot of different food items to choose from, so don’t worry if you’re not really a sushi person. The service accompanying the food is just as good, and you can actually sit down at the bar and watch the master chef work his magic!

To sum up my thoughts, If you’re looking for the best sushi (and Japanese/Korean food in general) in all of Czechia, this is your place, trust me, you won’t...

If you are looking for a local sushi restaurant that serves quality sushi, with a sweet staff, and provides a small, thus, intimate space…Hana Sushi House is the place for you. They have a very cute and inviting atmosphere. There are a lot of options from a la carte, sushi rolls….to even Korean Bibimbap! My meal was amazing!!!! I cannot wait to go again. You will not be disappointed.

Now, please note they are small…about six tables. So if you want to go as a group you should call ahead and make a reservation.
