The food is always very tasty and that's the reason we come back to this place. In spring and summer there is a small terrace on the street overlooking the church.

Nevertheless every time we go there, we never know what kind of service we’re going to experience today. The service is either average or awful. One of the waitresses is pretty unpleasant, abruptly pours water into a glass, I have never seen her smile even a little, it feels like she want us to leave as soon as possible. The other waitresses are okay, nothing special. There is no atmosphere inside the bistro (but it’s really nice to sit outside once the weather is good), the place is pleasant, but absolutely nothing is memorable. The strong point of the bistro is the food, although it is on a pricey side. For example, you’ll get a portion of French fries with sauce here for 135 CZK. They are not special or anything, they are regular fries, just so you know.

Last time I had a very unpleasant experience at Happy Bean. They quality of food as well as menu are quite poor and the service is even worse. During my recent visit I ordered a meal, the quality of which I already questioned (they used some cheapest unhealthy white bread for the toast). And in the salad I found one long hair, spiraled in the salad leaves. I complained about it as it was unpleasant, and the waiter after consulting with the manager offered me to choose another meal for free, as she said. I chose spinach tagliatelle, they were ok but in the end they charged me for the dish. I found it highly unprofessional. Apparently, the waiter didn’t communicate the manager’s wish clearly. But mostly important if the place is not able to offer a complimentary meal after their mistake it speaks loudly about their poor service and unprofessionalism. I wouldn’t recommend this...
