Fede Bistro Italiano — Restaurant in Prague

We decided to come here as it was less than a stone throw away from where we were staying … and thought we would give this little Italian restaurant a go.

We wish we saved our money and bought some groceries from the local shop.

Upon arrival we were told that they close at 9:45 we arrived at 8.40 and this was no problem.

We then ordered a pizza with spinach & garlic and another with Prosciutto and Rocket.

Both pizzas were awful. The dough itself was completely tasteless and undercooked. The tomato sauce was watery, with very little taste. The pizza was covered with cheese, which again… had 0 taste. The toppings tasted completely unfresh and we were actually weary to eat it.

We then asked for some olive oil and Parmesan cheese, which seemed to have been a great offence to the waiter.

We struggled to eat a couple of pieces each- this is coming from people who love their good food and would normally order 3 pizzas at any one time.

The waiter noticed that we ate very little and asked us what was wrong, my boyfriend just let him know that we didn’t like it, but we paid regardless as we didn’t want to make a big issue out of it. The waiter said this was the first time he has heard this, but upon reading these reviews… I don’t think this was the case .

I think this restaurant could use a good help from Gordon Ramsay (lol) and maybe have a relook at the quality of ingredients that they use and possibly reconsider a new team of...

Unfortunately our visit was quite poor. The overall reception upon arrival wasn't friendly at all, with the woman taking orders hovering over us, giving disapproving looks as we took our time choosing. When the food came it wasn't the best and unfortunately it made my friend ill afterwards.

The service was very abrupt and honestly we felt quite unwelcome. When we came to pay, she wasn't happy about us paying by card. After contactless didn't work (using a card abroad sometimes wants the pin) she told me cash, but after an argument I was finally able to us my pin, which worked fine. We weren't thanked for eating there and it seemed like she couldn't wait for...

The wine wine by the glass at a dinner was of superior quality. However, they have switched from a quality wine to a table wine and hired the price at the same time. Food is of average quality and Ambianze is clean but simple. If you come in and speak English you have a problem, because if the male service crew is present, they react aggressively to English speaking guests.
