It all started when we wanted to order. The restaurant was open for about an hour. I wanted to order the fried leg steak. They didnt have it anymore. My mother wanted to go for the catfish. Also not in stock. The waiter laughed it off and we decided to order something else. When they brought our drinks, the waiter just stood there and looked at us without saying anything. After about 15 seconds of sheer awkwardness, we caught up in his intentions. He was asking who ordered the coke. We assumed he didnt knew any english, which is okay. I ordered the homemade lemonade which was awesome, i must add. After about 30 minutes my brother and mother got their food. They waited 10 minutes for my dish and then started eating because their food turned cold. The waiter came to say i had to wait 3 more minutes. 15 minutes later, i got my duck. Read moreThis was definitely the best roasted duck I have ever had in my life (having visited even the most famous places for the Peking duck) - so tasty, juicy, with smokey flavour and not greasy at all. A very old house on the river bank, a former customs house that was tastefully converted to a restaurant, with an amazing wooden coal grill for the ducks. Apart from the best Czech beers one can find a very good selection of the Moravian wines. We were so full that we could not have any sweets but I am sure they were very delicious as well. Great service despite of the restaurant being fully booked. If you cant eat the full portion you can take the rest with you in a box provided by the restaurant. Will surely come next time we...

Welcomed with a warm smile from the staff, I sat at an antique wooden table and chair inside a historic wooden building. After a short wait, the best service followed.
Dipping the crispy fried duck giblets generously into the dipping sauce, I found myself taking two or three sips of beer without even realizing it. The half portion of roasted duck was impressive, with its crispy skin and tender, juicy meat.
Before I knew it, my beer was gone, so I ordered a homemade lemonade, whose refreshing citrus flavor cleansed my palate perfectly.
This place has a level of class that can’t be compared to other tourist restaurants. It was a delightful meal. Thank you for making my day...
