Our favourite place in Prague. Fantastic prices and atmosphere. If you're looking for food, you'll need to go into the restaurant door which you can only access by going out the main street. The food there was delicious and there was a very medieval feel to the place (hence the Templáře part of the name). There's a lovely range of beer here at incredibly good prices. To put it into perspective, I was paying less than £1.50 for a 0.5l beer here but was charged £4.44 for a 0.4l in Negro Torro restaurant on the Old Town Square (avoid that place at all costs). The staff at U Templáře were wonderful and the hospitality we were shown here was the best we received during our 6 day stay in Prague. When we return, we will definitely come back to this fantastic place....
Read moreThe bartender (bald guy in his late 40s) was arrogant from the very moment we entered and kept his attitude till our - lot earlier than planned - leaving when we decided to rather spend our money somewhere else where we can get a little more kindness. Serving was loud, rattling and rapid everytime we ordered something (so rapid we couldn't finish ordering) making us feel that we just ruined his wonderful day. One time he even had a sarcastic comment when we picked a drink to order ("the cheapest one..."). He was ignorant and temporarily deaf towards us with no reason. At the end I got a bit heated by his mood and asked if he is the owner but all of a sudden he completely forgot English and remained silent. We will visit Prague again for sure but not...

And after that, the channel was changed to force the people to leave.
Really shocked by the complete ignorance of the service team, like they don’t interested in their clients. And still don’t understand the purpose of translating a match if it’s impossible to finish it and you need to leave in the middle...
