Restaurace Amos — Restaurant in Prague

Walked past this little restaurant on our way back to the hotel and decided to give it a go for local food. On our arrival, there wasn't anywhere to sit, but Mike, the waiter, asked us to wait a minute with a big smile, and entertained us with small talks while he was sorting a table for us. He was very friendly and polite and even gave us an English and an Italian menu after asking us where we were from. We picked from the local cuisine section of the menu, and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and very tasty. We had 2 mains (grilled cheese and ribs), 1 side (grilled veg), 1 pudding (strudel) and 4 drinks (2 pints, 1 small water and half a pint) for a very good price. Highly...

From the moment we tentatively walked in hoping for a table for 2 that we hadn't booked in this packed little restaurant to us saying goodbye on the way out, comfortably full, we were made to feel incredibly welcome by Mike, our waiter. We really felt so at home. The food was honestly perfect. Simply done, presented beautifully. The prices are local, NOT tourist, so you get genuine food at genuine prices. Mike even asked where we are from and brought a menu to suit both our languages!! We are only here for 5 days but are already discussing if we can cram in another visit. This review cannot go any better , it's all true. I sampled this place for a couple of nights , during my time in prague. Loved the food here. The pork knuckle was amazing. Easily big enough to share , also the grilled sausage for starter was simple, but delicious. I highly recommend . The prices are of great value also . Well done...
