Its location is really what it has going for it. As for the rooms, the service etc this is nowhere close to the 4-star rating. Roomcleaning: Not sure there is a cleaner, or they are doing a bad job. Any area above eyelevel has not been cleaned for at least 5-6 months, so much dust. If you stay here, just run your finger above the mirror frame etc. We found seeds from plums under the bed, in a friends room there where litteral shit stains still in the toilet bowl. Our bathroom sink was so clogged it took like 15-30s to swallow the water once you washed your hands. The shower wall had black mold where it was glued to the tub. Furniture/looks: Rustic and old, as is common in Praque. Many shades of brown is to be expected. Our room had an old wardrobe where one of the doors jammed when you tried to open it. The door frame on our bathroom door had been previously damaged and the repair job was kinda ugly. We also had wallpaper starting to peel from the walls. A friend even had black mold behind his wallpaper where the wallpaper met the window opening. The bathroom had waterdamage in the cealing, poorly repaired towl rack, super worn shower handle and shower hose. Also a cracked bathroom sink. Generally very poorly maintained and a lot of "landlord specials" such as spotlights with paint ran over them. While the AC did work, it had not been cleaned in ages. It also made a noise during the whole night. Beds: As others have mentioned, stiff and not really that comfy. If you are picky about the bed you are sleeping on, pick another hotel. For one such as me that can sleep on pretty much everything it did not matter as much. View: Our room was on the first room of a very small (maybe 3x5m) "courtyard" that had some old and rusty machines on it. When it rained, it dripped down on a big metal plate on one of the machines in the courtyard making a sound all night. Very annoying to say the least. Ventilation: If you have astma or any other condition where you are sensitive to dust, mold or just bad air in general this would be an issue for you. The rooms dont seem to have any real ventilation. There is an AC, but that does not seem to replace the air just cools/warms it depending on its setting. So in order to get any type of oxygen into the room we had to sleep with the windows opened and the AC on heat to keep the room warm. Breakfast: Nothing special, and for being a hotel breakfast i would say its sub par. The tea was very tasteless, juice watery and while there was some variation to choose from nothing really stood out as very tasty. It also seemed that there was no structure on where each thing was placed. For example, one morning the cheeses could be in one spot and the next morning you could find salami in that spot instead. Refills only happened when a tray was empty. I did not eat the pancakes but the lady making them was blowing her nose while cooking these. Yeah, the bar was low so to speak. Lobby: Nice, reasonable comfy sofa. They did have a dedicated room for storing luggage after checkout and the staff was very helpful with keeping a meal cooled after checkout. TLDR: I cant recommend a stay at this hotel. The helpful staff at checkout was the one thing that took it from 1 star to 2 stars.

Great location and spacious rooms, but watch out for coach parties swamping the small breakfast room. Hotel right in the centre. Great for exploring all the sights on foot. Rooms are generous, with the added bonus of a nice seating area, and nice cold fridge for snacks and cold drinks. The only negative aspect was the small amount of wardrobe hanging space. OK for a long weekend though I guess. Breakfast is included in the room price, and was adequate. Bear in mind though that for this price you won't get 'Full English' items such as bacon. Instead, there's a small selection of cereals, bread rolls, fruit and salad items. And for some reason there were no pastries or croissants, and no toaster; a bit bizarre. Equally, there were some inappropriate hot food items available that should probably be reserved for a dinner menu, such as rice and beef goulash 🤔 And baked beans were on offer, but freezing cold as they were in with the salad items! Weird. I guess some continental Europeans seem to tolerate the same food whatever the time of day. Cottage cheese with scrambled eggs, salad items and cakes all on the same plate! Be wary of the (mainly German) coach parties who descend on the hotel; usually for just one or two nights. Breakfast is served 07.30 til 10.00. But because they tend to have trips booked for 9, the coach parties all swamp the small breakfast room promptly at 7.30, meaning that all the tables get quickly taken, and massive queues form for the buffet breakfast items. Luckily, the breakfast room is duly locked outside of breakfast time, otherwise I'm sure some of them would try to reserve a table the night before by putting a towel over the chairs 😀. So best to have a lie in and go for breakfast after 8.30.

Well situated in the heart of Prague’s tourist district. On the second night, we spotted a bug so we checked the mattress. Yellow stains throughout and some blood spots. Disgusting that they would allow people to sleep on this filthy mattress. Furthermore, there appears to be black mold in washroom. Front desk didn’t seem too worried when I mentioned all of this. It’s also party central outside all night so best you bring earplugs. Breakfast was ok and coffee was great. Other than that, good hotel if you don’t mind disgusting mattresses.

My only regret with this hotel is that I didn't take any photos to share. ☹️

I only stayed one night at ADRIA; however, it was a very enjoyable one. I had a double room, which afforded plenty of space for myself - a single traveler on this trip - and would have been sufficiently comfortable for a traveling pair as well.

The bed was very comfortable. Pillows were large and fantastic - leaps and bounds over many other hotels across Europe. Shower/Sink and toilet are in separate rooms. Toilet had a normal door, while the shower/sink had a sliding door with small, partitioned fogged glass windows on the upper half. No worries about seeing anything meaningful through those windows; however, when the sliding door is completely closed, there is still a 1/2" gap between the door and the wall, facing the room. So, keep that in mind if staying with someone who you may not want to see you in your birthday suit.

My room rate included a bottle of sparkling wine. Appeared to be a local $6 variety; however, it was much appreciated. Stem glasses were available in the room above the mini-bar, as were normal water glasses and a bottle opener.

A power outlet was in reach of both sides of the bed - very convenient. Light switches were along the headboard right near the edges of the bed. Again, very convenient, though when I was sitting in bed with my head propped up against a pillow, I did accidentally flip the switch once or twice. Not a big issue - I scooted 2 inches to my left and solves that problem.

TV position was at a 45-degree angle to the bed. Can't comment on that any more, as I did not use it.

Odd observation about the hallway of the floors the rooms are on - the hallway lights are all hooked up to motion detectors and turn off when there is no movement. Certainly a cost-saving and green measure, but definitely a first for me in hotels. It is kind of odd to look down a long, dark hallway, but then at the same time, it's kind of cool when the lights turn on as you progress down said hallway.

Breakfast buffet was very impressive. Eggs, sausage, what appeared to be grits (maybe - I don't eat the things), and some steamed vegetables. There was a stand with an attendant ready to make you pancakes. The staff in the breakfast room was on top of it - for real. I stood up to get a second serving, and before I made it to the buffet, an attendant had whisked my dirty plate and empty cup away from the table. Not bad!!!

The same gal was at the reception desk when I arrived and when I departed. Very friendly, very helpful. Interesting observation on departure - she asked me to wait a few minutes, and called to housekeeping to inspect the room. I didn't get the impression that they suspected anything was wrong - rather, this seemed to be standard operating procedure. After she called housekeeping back and confirmed the room was in order, she called to another office. The marketing manager walked out and asked me for my input on the hotel, my room, and my stay. I was very surprised by this, but she genuinely appeared interested in any feedback I had. I felt bad that I had no areas of improvement to suggest - everything was great, and I of course wasn't about to tell them to remove a small gap between a sliding door and a wall. She handed me a slip of paper asking for a review on TripAdvisor, which I will be all too happy to offer.

tl;dr: Great hotel,...

First off we were very excited to stay in this hotel, the pictures and the location made the place feel very appealing. Me and my fiance stayed for 2 nights. The first night we didn't get there until 11pm for check in after 12 hours of set backs bc of flight delays. Also I learned that we got the last available room and maybe it was part of the issue. Within the first hour we nearly flooded the bathroom between a poorly rigged shower head and a faucet at the sink that wouldn't simply turn off without pressing down very hard and turning it from side to side an issue we were told would be fixed the next day that didnt happen. The AC was not working properly and we sweated all night long as we hoped it might work better with time which it didn't. The receptionist was very helpful in providing us adapters for our phone chargers and explained the TV had a 10 second delay for turning on which is bad on me for my impatience I also have a light switch at home that does it too. The bed was technically 2 twin sized beds placed side by side to make a full size bed and over night tossing and turning they were ending up far apart. The breakfast was awful particularly on the second day and it seemed like some things were stale and tasteless in regard to the baked goods and the only meat options were hot dogs and a salami that were probably also a few days old. I gave 2 stars one for location and one for loaning adapters for phone chargers. I can understand the building is old but a faucet and shower head change felt like it would not have been very difficult or too much to change out. I also felt that the AC was also in a need of a change out or servicing bc we were quite miserable with it the whole time and never realized a level of comfort and I also understand that the area was under a heat wave and is a quite rare event for Prague but still it was too hot and humid without some air movement. We stayed at 5 different places on our trip and we felt it was the worst between the faulty plumbing, non working AC and sub par breakfast. In every complaint I had, the other 4 places had none of those issues and that is most of the reason why I write this review. I have stayed at hotels in third world countries and south Texas oil boom towns and they didn't even have the issues that we encountered. I will never stay here again probably not even with a...
