Such an underwhelming experience. I guess the starting idea was great (probably Nordic inspiration), but the implementation... Completely lackluster... Here are some main points:

Food: meh AND overpriced for the serving size. Not much originality. A party of 3 having different dishes, same unanimous conclusion...

Space and atmosphere: quite crammed, extremely noisy. The open kitchen might be a nice idea... The constant noise from all the operating machines made it close to impossible to have a decent conversation

Service... There's no table service, which I could understand... But what I never did understand was why they need so much staff around, then. The only thing one of the staff members did for almost the entire duration of our visit was too move some pastry from one tray to another and back... Now, don't get me wrong... There's nothing wrong with having no table service. But since you have staff in hand that clearly have nothing better to do... I must question your concept of hospitality. On top of that, the staff sure could be a bit friendlier...

"Design" - having nice plates and stuff is nice. Having tableware that actually serves its purpose is much better, though. Salad spilling from the bowl that is obviously too small for it... No go for me. Teapots/mugs that look good but lead to burnt fingers... No...

Ice cream (soft serve) or Braeakfast, this is the place to be. My first visit was for the Ice Cream only. Olive Oil with a soft serve (and Buckwheat) !! Surly that wont work. Surprisingly it did. Not only that but it was a match made in heaven. Who would have thought. Olive Oil and Soft Serve is my new favorite thing.

Then comes the breakfast. Simple yet each bite explodes of flavor. A nicely baked sourdough toast, topped with unsweetened whip cream that comes with an omelette that is filled with cheddar cheese. All these elements go together nicely. It is very simple and easy yet the creativity in that dish is genius. The omelette was prepared to perfection, not a wrinkle in site while cooked equally good at each side.

I have enjoyed this place and that is exactly what food should be. Enjoyment for each of your senses.

Two thumps up (and a...

To by nebylo nikomu příjemné… Třeba to příště bude lepší a možná nebudu mít takové nebeské...

This is a vibrant breakfast place conveniently located near our hotel, so we enjoyed walking there through the paved streets of the old town. Contrary to its surroundings, the café looks very modern, like an oasis in the desert. The food was great! We tried two options: a granola bowl and an assorted breakfast with sourdough and whipped butter. We thoroughly enjoyed both. Although seemingly simple, the dishes were nicely balanced and satisfying. The coffee was also spot-on; however, we only tried the flat white, so we can’t provide comments for coffee enthusiasts, unfortunately. It’s also very pleasant to sit inside, soak in the ambiance, and sneak a peek at the open kitchen from time to time. Definitely recommended!
