Modrý zub Slezská — Restaurant in Prague

As we had great food and great service last month, we were very excited to take Mum here for dinner yesterday, but this time it was completely different! Starting with the waitress and including the whole kitchen team, they had a bad attitude and were rude to the guests. One of the dishes we ordered was pad kra pao (we had it last time—it was amazing; before we left, I even bowed and thanked them). Let me describe: When the waitress brought the dish, I asked her what kind of dish it was in a very nice and normal way. She replied, "What did you order? Pad kra pao," I said. She said, "Okay, that is pad kra pao you ordered." The look and taste were not as they should be, so when the male cook came, I asked him what it was. He said he didn't know and offered to change it; I agreed, and he took it back to the kitchen. At that moment, the Thai female cook was upset. She started commenting very loudly, stating that I was naive and didn't know what pad kra pao is. โง่ หรือไงไม่รู้จักผัดกะเพรา That was too strong. I didn't care where the basil came from; I cared about the look and taste of the dish you called pad kra pao, and I've experienced it here before! You can lie to foreigners, but not to Thai people or people who know Thai cuisine. Have you ever tasted the dishes you make? There was one good thing—our Mum liked the pad Thai, which was made by the Thai male cook.

Only the waiter—everyone else on yesterday's shift—was totally rude! I wonder, if you don't like your job, why don't you quit and do something else?

It's sad; we've decided to stop coming here after being regulars at your Spalena Modrý Zub branch...

We were seven guests and had seven different dishes. These were all appreciated. Just good. The interior is a bit like a company canteen. And a few cushions on the hard wooden benches do not seem like an unnecessary luxury to me. Fortunately, the staff offered some blankets that could be used as such. Next to our table, in the cramped space, there was another group of about ten people who were having a great time. Because of this, we could hardly hear each other because of the acoustics. A relevant mistake was made when paying. The service was smooth and pleasant...

This was the best Thai food I’ve ever had in Prague. The Thai curry was one of the spiciest and flavorful I’ve had.

The waitress brought a coloring book for my toddler and everyone was very friendly.

Interior is beautiful too.

Will definitely come back to try...
