Pizza Bertoldi Vinohrady — Restaurant in Prague

The interior is very small and cozy, has a nice friendly vibe, I liked it. The staff was also very nice and quite fast, there was seating on the street as well. They also have gluten-free options for EACH of their pizzas which is very rare. My partner had gluten free one which was full with water. There was water sitting on the surface, beneath the ham. I guess it's still better than if it was oil but still it's not something you'd want. Taste was just not that good (which is always a risk with gluten-free meals though). I had a normal margherita with anchovies. I wanted it to be good so bad but unfortunately the dough ruined it. The quality of the dough resembled thin wet paper. It was so thin and wet you couldn't hold it in your hands and when picked up, it was just falling apart. There was a group of kids at the next table and all of their pizzas looked perfect with nice dough, so I guess they made the dough on mine much thinner than they wanted. It happens but that is what I got so that's what I'm reviewing hence the 3 stars for the food.

However I'd like to give them 1 more chance and try a well-made pizza the next time :) go and see...

One of the best pizza spots I found in Prague. PIZZA: The texture of the dough was incredible, crispy on the outside and nice and soft in the middle. There was a plenty of toppings, it wasn’t dry or soggy, just perfect. Every bite felt like a journey through paradise. AVOID!!! Disgusting! Extremely greasy and soggy pizza. One of the worst I have ever tasted! They exploit the fashion of VEGANISM, but hardly anything is Vegan in this horrible place, they use tons of dairy and cheese and many animal products in their pizzas that they pass as VEGAN! They just con customers with false VEGAN advertisement, when nothing they do is actually VEGAN! Staff is rude and unhelpful. They treat you as an annoying insect!
