Wasn’t intending to complain but things took a dive. There’s a lipstick stain on my glass, I went to the counter wanting to speak to a staff. I pointed to him (the man in the picture) to explain the glass is dirty, he actually wiped it off with his finger and passed it back to me.
I explained I wanted a new one; and he gave a dirty look, took a new glass and wanted to transfer the contents to the new glass.
It was after much banter that he finally told his staff to make a new one - to which I initially thought he couldn’t understand English but it turns out that he understood everything, he just refused to do. Everything happened without a single apology.

Read moreI recently visited this small café and was thoroughly impressed. It's a charming spot without waitstaff, but the quality of their offerings more than makes up for it. I tried several pastries, each one more delicious than the last. Highlights included the Focaccia with Mozzarella and prosciutto, the spinach quiche, the bacon and Emmental quiche, and the raspberry tart. To complement these, I had a cappuccino that was perfectly brewed.
