The worst LV stores I have ever been to which is saying a lot given my extensive wardrobe with this fashion line. I visited the Prague store twice over the course of a (4) day visit. The reception was very cold to begin with, nobody greeted nor offered to help me upon arrival. Just to give you a contrast, when I visit my home store at Aventura (Miami), I am asked if I would like some coffee or water, I am seated, and then the consultant will ask me what assistance I may need. In this store you have to chase down the consultants and on every occasion that I did, it seemed like I was bothering them.
I went upstairs to try on some men's shoes and they had very limited stock in my size, the consultant was very cold as well, and when I asked for about the tax free benefit he seemed even less thrilled to be of assistance. When I left the area and thanked him for his help he didn't every offer a simple "you're welcome". He was very young as well, perhaps this was the issue.
Downstairs I was looking at some handbags with my girlfriend and the consultant in the area needed to put away something and my girlfriend was apparently "in his way" and was also annoyed when she wouldn't move quick enough so he could get around her. Usually when a culture like this is acceptable by the entire store staff you can look to the top to the management who tolerate it, or promote it. When we got to the store we met what appeared to be the manager who greeted us with "we are very busy and it may take some time for a consultant to help you". So there you have it.
It is a shame that such a beautiful city like Prague has such as lousy LV store. I will be going to Aventura this weekend to make my purchases.
Reading the other reviews on here it seems like this is an ongoing problem...
Read moreI used to shop at Louis Vuitton in Prague even though the quality of their products was bad, just because the staff were nice and respectful. That made it easier to come back from time to time.
But now things are even worse. The product quality is still low, and now the service is also terrible. The staff don’t care about customers at all.
It’s just disgusting. Don’t waste your money here. Buy from any other brand—just not Louis Vuitton. It’s a total scam: they take your money and give you nothing in return.
In the photos I attached to this review, you can see how Louis Vuitton in Prague treats a customer who bought a bag worth several thousand euros. I brought the same bag back to their store for the second time because of a clear manufacturing defect — and instead of simply replacing it, they handed me a paper bag and told me to send it for another “repair.”
Even worse, they charged me for this repair. Absolutely absurd. I didn’t damage the bag, I didn’t do anything wrong — it was clearly a fault from the beginning.
This is already the second or third time I’ve gone through this, and all they do is waste my time and money. No proper help, no responsibility, and definitely no respect for customers. That’s what Louis...
Read moreI had a bad shopping experience at the LV store in Czech on May 1st and would like to report it to their customer service. The salesperson, Aigerim M., had a very poor attitude and did not smile at all. She couldn't find my membership information on her computer and was very impatient when I tried to confirm my phone number. When I entered my phone number with the country code "+886" (for Taiwan), she told me that was incorrect and made me enter a new membership number. She scolded me for not typing my name with a hyphen in the middle, even though I did not initially do so. When I asked her to enter my information for the tax refund form, she entered the wrong phone number and questioned me repeatedly about whether it was the correct one. The other LV stores I've been to, in France and Germany, had friendly and professional staff who even helped me with my baby stroller. The behavior of this salesperson really ruined my travel experience as a foreign visitor. It's unacceptable for a luxury brand like LV to have such emotionally unstable employees serving customers in...
