If you are craving for a delicious Czech cake in the centre of Prague then come here. This is an excellent "Sweet-house" with always fresh cakes and little sandwiches. Prices are good even though it's in the very centre.
The only thing that I don't find that good about this place is the service. It's busy - yes, we all know it but the staff should be able to handle it. Multiple times they act in the classical grumpy Czech way :(. Hopefully this changes, I am going there tonight so let's see again.

Though some the birthday cakes looks amazing! But still taste is nothing special. The sandwiches are super good but the bread is only white so the bad one. Even when is with goat cheese and so on. Read moreInside a seemingly boring shopping mall/strip you find this gem of a shop... Always with a long queue of people speaking Czech... That gives away that this is a place where local people go for a cup of coffee and a cake...
The cakes are really good, very reasonably priced and the staff is very friendly... It is by no means a hip/in place and that has its own charm... The place is often full of locals enjoying a cake and chatting...
Go there to get a refreshment off the besten turist track. It's a good alternative...
