One of the best sushi I have ate in Prague.

We have ordered sushi set special and sashimi moriawase and I can definitely say that I've never had fresher sashimi in my life. Sashimi was very juicy and fresh. I also liked their presentation: sumptuous enough to make you feel like you're eating something special, yet simple enough to not leap to the eye at the table.

The content of the sushi set is already defined in the menu however sashimi moriawase is left to the chef's choice for the day. I think this is a different excitement, at least I liked it.

In terms of pricing, I can say that it is a little expensive. But is it worth it? Definitely. In continental Europe, sushi has always been an expensive choice all the time.

The atmosphere of the place was generally nice, but the interior is a little small, but I wouldn't say it was cramped either, I would just feel more comfortable if there was a little more distance between the tables, that's all. Apart from this, I think it is a little noisier than it should be, which is definitely not the problem of the place but is a result of the guests making unnecessary noise. That's why I don't have any criticism for the place.

Waiters... This place has the most polite waiters I have encountered in Prague. Not only are they polite, but if you are undecided or don't know much about sushi, they explain everything in detail to the best of their ability, making it easier for you to place the most suitable order. We knew what we ordered, but the explanation the waiter gave us after the sushi was served was truly admirable. I don't know what more I can say, but long story short, we were extremely satisfied with the service.

Ohhh, one last thing. We wanted to give them tip for this nice attitude and service quality, but for various reasons (I think due to VAT) they accept tips only in cash. For this reason, unfortunately, although we wanted to give a tip very much, we could not do it by card payment. Thus, we could not give a tip because we didn't have any cash with us. But we will definitely make up for it on...

I am coming to this place for more than 15 years already. It’s a pity that we can’t see our life statistics because i would want to know how many Yami Udons i had in this place. Only once they used different part of chicken and it changed a taste. Just imagine, 15 years of ordering this dish and only once it was a bit different, the taste was good though I can’t complain. Even though this place tend to be Japanese they recently added korean soup Kimchi Jige. Believe it or not, for me, it is the best Kimchi Jige ever, and I have been to a lot of korean restaurants or was invited to korean families. The flavour, the smell, the size of the portion, everything as it should be. And of course sushi, i travelled a lot and tried sushi in many places. Yami Sushi house so far is the best one for me. In Prague there is also one more place that can try to compete with this one, but they don’t have such an amount of different food. I am dreaming once to try Yami Sushi’s poke bowl :) Maybe one day it will happen and i believe its going to be another dish to which i will say “that’s the best poke bowl i ever tried”. Always go to this place with some cash because you would want to leave some tip and it is possible...

I have been in a lot of Asian restaurants around the globe and by far, this was the best experience we ever had. We have been 2 couples from Israel and because we ate "Kosher" like "Halal" it was a bit hard and confusing for us. Then we met out waiter Eugene. Eugene "built" for us special dish (from the menu) that will be "Kosher" and supe tasty, we had AN AMAZING service from Eugene, I think the best service we ever had, he was so sweet, lovely and understanding for our needs. We had so much fun, and the dishes were so much tasty that we back to this restaurant on the last day in our visit in Prague. In addition, the restaurant is very clean, all the staff including the other waiters was very pleasant and nice. This is the first time I'm reviewing a restaurant in Google because I just had to share this amazing experience to anyone who visit Purge and will the taste an amazing Asian food and experience service above expectations. If I had the chance to rate this restaurant 10 stars, I...

I first heard about this when my friend suggested to eat here, and to my suprise that night was really busy so had tp book for another night. Anyways we got there and greeted by friendly staff and to the right, a counter of fresh fish being prepared by chefs. Inside was cozy with japanese designed furniture and decorations, especially love the tree. We ordered the wakame salad but this isnt what we are used to as it was actual seaweed however it was definitely worth a try. Texture is bouncy, a bit chewy and with that lemon juice all over, gets your taste buds going. We also ordered the most expensive set, dragon roll, and a few others. I can't describe everything but it taste amazing, so much flavour from the sashimi, definitely worth the money. Note: if you want to try this, remember to book a table
