Wokin — Restaurant in Prague

It is very unsatisfactory. I dined at the restaurant on the evening of December 31, 2023. At first, I ordered at the buffet machine. After I made the first payment successfully, there was a problem with the machine and no receipt was issued. However, after I went to the clerk to explain the problem, the clerk helped me manually order again at the cashier, and I made the second payment. The clerk told me that the first payment would be returned within two days. But ten days later, I still hadn't received a refund, so I wrote an email requesting a refund. After another five days and no response to my email, I decided to call. But when I called, the robot replied and it wasn't in English, it didn't understand. I went to this branch for lunch yesterday. I ordered rice with red curry and tofu. On the face of it there was no option of egg. I still specifically requested the person at the cashier to make sure there is no egg in my food. For vegetarians, it’s quite difficult because there’s no option to indicate "no egg" on the screen and also one would never presume that every dish comes with egg irrespective. The server disagreed, made a big fuss about it not being marked. He acted in a very unpleasant manner. The situation felt very harassing, and the server even raised his voice. Both men at the cashier were involved and were mocking the situation. Absolutely unacceptable! Wish there was an option for no stars for service and atmosphere.

It’s definitely a take away place or you should come here outside of rush hours if you want to sit down. At lunch time on working days it’s literally packed both downstairs and upstairs (there are additional tables upstairs). But the food is really tasty. You can choose your type of noodles (made of rice, egg and so on) and all ingredients which you want to add such as meat, shrimps, calamari, mushrooms, beans, onion etc and a type of sauce. Service is very good, food is prepared quite fast. Price level is average. They don’t take meal vouchers, but it’s possible to make a payment by card.
