-Be aware of the service it ruins everything- We were a group of 8 colleagues on a business trip who had heard good things about this place, so we called to book a table for the same evening. During the reservation, we were told that we could have a table at 7:00 pm, but we would need to leave by 8:30 pm to make room for other guests, so they asked us to be on time. We all arrived early and were seated by 6:50 pm, and around 7:05 pm we ordered our drinks — so far, everything seemed fine.
We then waited for the waiter — a man who throughout the evening kept talking about his favorite football team and the tattoos he had dedicated to it — to take our food order, which he finally did around 7:20 pm. Since we were on a tight schedule, we asked if we could also order desserts at the same time, but he told us they would only take dessert orders later.
The waiter was well aware of the time limits we had been given, and our food choices were simple (burgers and chicken). Nevertheless, the food didn’t arrive until around 7:50–7:55 pm. We finished eating at about 8:10 pm and then tried to get the waiter’s attention to order dessert. We finally managed to do so at 8:20 pm, when he came over holding the card reader, ready to give us the bill.
When we pointed out that we still wanted dessert — something we had mentioned from the start — he first said no, because it was too late. Then he changed his mind and took our order in a rush, only to return a minute later with the receipt. Since this was a business dinner and we all needed separate receipts for reimbursement, we politely asked if he could split the bill, as the desserts hadn’t arrived yet. The waiter, visibly annoyed, refused.
We then asked if we could cancel the desserts and pay separately instead, so we could use that time to settle the bill. Again, he said no and told us the desserts would be out soon and changed his mind only after we explained we really needed the separate bills. He eventually brought them, all the while urging us to hurry up and leave. As we ate in a rush, we had to handle the receipts and payments with this man speaking to us rudely.
When it came time to pay, some of us decided not to leave a tip given the slow, confusing, and discourteous service — despite the waiter knowing perfectly well about the tight schedule they themselves had imposed (he took his sweet time talking about football and stuff). They even brought one extra plate by mistake and tried to give it to someone at our table.
The worst part came at the end, when, upset that he didn’t receive a tip, the waiter remarked that he shouldn’t have expected anything better “from Italians like you.” That kind of comment was deeply offensive and completely unacceptable. For the record, in every other restaurant we went to during our trip — where the service was pleasant and professional — we left generous tips.
A very disappointing and unpleasant experience that ruined the atmosphere and I truly hope no one else has to...
Read moreAt first we are asked could they cater for two we were shown a table offered a drink everything okay so far . Menus trusted upon us asked numerous times in the space of ten minutes what would we like to order.
I thought maybe it’s the custom of the waiter in Prague. But this has not been my experience in the previous restaurants .
We ordered warm goats cheese with walnuts perfect not a bother. I was taking a drink from my glass from under me my plate was taken it’s not how expected to be served.
Mains arrived mine and then my wife’s odd how both one being pork knuckle had come out before my wife’s mains so I waited to eat with her .
I started to eat warm but not overly hot when I got closer to the middle where it was very cold this dish was heated in an oven I dare I say microwave. I called the waiter asked to speak to the manager and was told he went home early how could someone in authority leave two students behind to look after a restaurant. We asked for water and had to follow a member of staff around to get a glass to drink from Seriously team this is grossly unacceptable.
They said they would take my mains off the bill When should have scrapped the bill only when we left my wife told me my Food was also cold I then was furious 😡.
I would have put money on a one horse race in the establishment I definitely it’s gonna loose .
Please if you need a meal and it’s a night out don’t cross this door . They have ruined a very special evening in our weekend visiting this beautiful city.
STAY AWAY AS YOU WILL FEEL EXACTLY HOW I FEEL NOW NAUSEATED 🤢 AFTER EATING HERE SO SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON A RESTAURANT THAT DOES NOT CARE HOW YOU ARE SERVED. HOW YOU ARE TREATED AND THE FOOD YOU EAT .
This will go on trip advisor also as I could not let another visitor to this stunning city eat in this pity full place. No stars if I could. Will never be back avoid at all costs

Read moreThis local Prague restaurant has become a must-visit destination for anyone seeking an authentic taste of Czech cuisine. The star of the show is undoubtedly the pork knee, which is served up with the perfect accompaniments – tangy mustard sauces and pickled cabbages that complement the flavors beautifully. And of course, no Czech meal is complete without a refreshing local beer, which flows freely and adds to the convivial atmosphere.
What sets this place apart is the incredible value it offers. The portions are generous, the prices are more than reasonable, and the quality of the food is exceptional. My Czech friend kindly brought me here, and I'm so glad they did – the atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with a touch of sophistication that sets it apart from your typical tourist trap.
While the pork knee was the standout dish, the duck leg was a bit of a letdown, a tad dry and tough compared to the melt-in-your-mouth pork. But that's a minor quibble in the grand scheme of things. The efficient, almost fast-food-like service ensures you can get your fill of traditional Czech fare quickly, making it the perfect spot for a hearty meal before heading to the airport.
Overall, this restaurant is a shining example of the vibrant food scene in Prague, offering a delicious and affordable taste of...
