If you’re looking for a truly authentic Thai culinary experience in Copenhagen, LumLum is an absolute gem. The restaurant is owned by Joy, an incredibly warm and friendly woman whose years of expertise in Thai cuisine shine through in every dish. Unlike many Thai restaurants in Europe that adapt their recipes to suit local tastes, Joy is dedicated to preserving the true essence of Thai flavors, delivering a dining experience that feels as if you’ve been transported straight to Thailand.

We ordered Namtok Nue and Somtam Prara, and I can confidently say they were the best I’ve had in Europe so far. The Namtok Nue (spicy grilled beef salad) was perfectly balanced, with the right kick of spice, zesty lime, and the signature umami of toasted rice powder. The Somtam Prara (papaya salad with fermented fish sauce) was a revelation—bold, vibrant, and unapologetically authentic, just as it should be.

Joy’s passion and genuine care for her craft are evident not only in the food but also in the warm atmosphere she creates for her guests. Whether you’re a Thai food enthusiast or someone curious to try authentic Northern Thai cuisine, LumLum is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu. Highly...

If you're craving authentic Thai flavors in Copenhagen, look no further! This Thai restaurant is a hidden gem that will transport your taste buds straight to Thailand. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere, friendly staff, and most importantly, incredibly delicious food. Every dish is bursting with authentic Thai flavors, perfectly balanced and reminiscent of the best Thai cuisine. The restaurant uses high-quality Thai ingredients, such as fresh basil leaves, fragrant jasmine rice, and authentic curry pastes, ensuring an exceptional culinary experience. The restaurant boasts a cozy and clean ambiance, creating a welcoming and comfortable dining experience.

Highly Recommended Dishes: Pad Kra Pao: A spicy and flavorful stir-fry with fragrant basil leaves. Tom Yum Soup: A tangy and spicy soup that will awaken your senses. Jasmine Rice: Perfectly cooked, fragrant jasmine rice. Pad Kana Moo Krob: Delicious crispy pork with chinese kale. Lod Chong Dessert: A sweet and refreshing traditional Thai dessert.

I am disappointed with my experience here. It is really unfortunate as I am a staying here, a few blocks away in Copenhagen frequently, and was looking for a Thai restaurant close to home. I am a lover of Thai food and this was authentic and tasty. I went in and was greeted in a friendly manner. I ordered my Tom Yam soup and a glass of water and after I ordered I opened my laptop to send an urgent item quickly. I closed it again in under 5 minutes, but when the lady brought my water she looked at my laptop and appeared angry with me suddenly. I am a visitor here, and am learning that some places don't like laptops open in the business. I totally respect it, and if I see a sign on the table, I will not bring it out, of course. There were no signs about that there and I had the laptop out for under 5 minutes. It would have been easy enough for the lady to ask me to put it away, rather than becoming rude and grumpy-looking. I was ignored when I paid my bill and said thank you to her. Its too bad that this was my experience here, or this would have been my new favorite...

Very good Thai food! I ordered the Tom Saab and morning glory and it was both very tasty 😋 definitely will be a place I visit next time I visit Copenhagen I came the next day to try other food and their northern style minced pork was tasty as well! Not much of a fan of their Tom Yam soup but it’s personal preference. Edit 2: I came back a year later and I would like to say I am truly disappointed with the service and and the fact I was slapped with a tap water fee. I asked for tap water and I was quite shocked to find out that I was charged 30kr for tap water in my bill. I would not have been so mad if I was informed that when I ordered but not a word from the waitress. I have visited many restaurants in the city and I have always been informed if they charge for tap water, heck I was even informed of the price when I ordered still water so this was just unacceptable to me. I really liked this restaurant and that’s why I came back again but I would not come back here ever again.
