Mamma Mia… Miam-Miam!…
This is a quite serious Italian restaurant. No misunderstandings, the staff members have large smiles on their faces, they are in a very good mood - and very professional -, but I mean: the food, is serious. This is not your average eatery.
We ordered pizzas. And boy, did we get pizzas… They are made very high quality ingredients and toppings. It is a serious meal. Consequently, 1 pizza per person, is too much (and this is a big pizza-eater saying this, here…). So, go with 2 pizzas for 3 people. And with the money that you will not spend on that 3rd one which you will not be able to finish - as much as you want to, because it is totally delicious - , treat yourself with some wine.
Considering that the pizzas were this extraordinary, I can only imagine how good must be the other items on the Menu…
The complimentary olive oil that they serve you - along with some bread - while you are waiting for your meal, is of the highest quality of olive oil that I have ever tasted. While I was born in a Mediterranean country, where I have lived until my late teenage years. And I have also been in Southern Italy…
The service is, also, way above average. Plus a beautiful décor, classy furniture and table settings, a warm and comfortable ambiance, and an excellent service. Btw, do not get "fooled" by the outside, the interior is a large and spacious, multi-levels area.
Enjoy your main meal of the day, in this wonderful place. Then go outside and walk a little bit, in the places which you will see in the attached pictures, and which are within the same area where this excellent restaurant is situated. Then, after having thus digested a little bit your delicious meal, underneath those colorful façades, along the canal, savor a nice gelato.

Read moreMe and my bf went there for our last day of vacations. We arrived 20 min earlier and when we told the hostess that we had a booking she told us to wait in the bar which we thought it was strange since she didn’t ask for our name. We ordered a very nice cocktail in the bar whilst we saw many people going inside instantly. We were very hungry so in the meantime i asked if we could see the menu and they happily gave it to us. Once we already knew what we wanted i went to the main desk or whatever its name is to gentletly asked the hostess what was the situation with the table cause we had a booking at 20 but they just told us to sit in the bar and never asked for our names and that we were super hungry so if the table wasn’t ready we could see if we could ordered from the bar. Even before i finished my sentence the woman with a very rude attitude said that “since its 20’just right now i will find you a table so you don’t starve” and proceed to show us our table whilst repeating two more times that she would tell the waiter to take our order asap so we wouldn’t starve. Honestly im not sure if that was like danish sense of humor or this woman had a bad day and i said the wrong thing but we were polite and just wanted to know something cause no one explained us the situation or even asked if we would like to go inside sooner 🫠. For my was ok cause i really dont care when people have an attitude but it kind of ruined the start of my boyfriend’s dinner. Apart from that the food was great, the waiter was completely charming and gave me great wine recommendations and the environment was nice. Price wise it might’ve been a bit expensive cause we ordered 2 pizzas, 2 beers and 2 glasses of wine and 1 limoncello spritz for 121€ but for what I’ve understand its a bit pricey eat out in Denmark specially...
Read moreNestled right in the middle of Copenhagen, this Italian restaurant boasts a perfect location that’s hard to beat. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with multiple sections to choose from, each offering its own unique cozy charm. Whether you’re looking for an intimate corner or a more lively setting, there’s a spot for everyone.
We opted for the 4-course menu with wine pairing, and the experience was delightful. The food was impressive from start to finish. The second course featured pasta—light, delicious, and perfectly cooked. While I didn’t expect pasta in a course menu, it’s an Italian restaurant after all, so it’s practically a must! The star of the evening, though, was the main dish: pork that melted in your mouth, bursting with playful and well-balanced seasonings. I normally wouldn’t choose pork at a restaurant, but this dish completely won me over. The wine pairings, all Italian, complemented the dishes beautifully and added an extra layer to the experience.
Service was generally good, though there was a minor hiccup at the beginning. The first waiter (who seemed to be a helper) took our order, only for a second waiter to come by and take it again. It was a small misunderstanding and didn’t detract from the overall experience.
The only note of caution is the table arrangement—tables are placed fairly close to each other, so if you’re planning a romantic dinner, be prepared for some background noise from neighboring conversations.
All in all, it was a wonderful evening with great food, wine, and atmosphere. Definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re looking for authentic Italian dining...
