Pad Thai Take Away — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

Pad Thai Takeaway is a tiny place tucked away on the side of Abel Cathrines street in the heart of the meat packing area. It’s mostly known for takeaway as the name suggests, but there are a few tables so you can also dine in. When we arrived here for dinner, there were just three people working away briskly in the small open kitchen, manning the cash desk and handling service. All of them were so gracious and their smiling faces made us feel that we’d made the right decision walking in. Pad Thai makes some of the best Thai we’ve had and this is not just in Copenhagen, but back home in India as well. We ordered the Pad Thai with pork and Red Thai Curry with tofu. Both dishes were extremely well-flavoured and the vegetable curry deserves special mention for how fresh all the ingredients were. I went to this place for dinner thinking they only did takeout. But guess what? They had three tables where you could actually dine in! Most of the orders were for delivery, though. If you eat there, your food comes out way faster. We got some spring rolls to start, then tofu fried rice and spicy Thai curry with chicken. I cannot recommend this place enough! The experience was amazing, when the host came to take our order we were unsure what to get, she took us through the menu, helped us pick dishes that fit our desires and came out with free spring rolls shortly after. The food was amazing, it tasted like being at a really good restaurant in Thailand, I’ve been there twice and this taste like extremely high quality Thai cuisine.
