Look, it ain't bad but this place is nowhere near worth it's 4.8 stars.
We had the oysters, some sandwiches and a glorified croquet monseigneur.
The oysters certainty we're good but then again, it's an oyster, you can't really do anything wrong with it?
The wraps and croques where nice but also nothing special, it's a sandwich with a spread between it (which is fine).
The problem is that is pretty expensive.
Apart from that we had to wait 1.5h!! for our food, I mean c'mon... It's opening an oyster and smearing a sandwich. There's not a single reason this should have taken so long.
When we ordered there were ~8 people in the restaurant..
As a compensation we did get 4 free drinks at the end of our visit. 👍
In general, is this place only worth 2 stars? No it's better than that but our experience was not good.
If you have a lot of time and don't care about how much something costs, give this place a chance.
Else just go to one of the many better places in...
Read moreImagine blistering cold, wind howling, fingers are numb and you’re questioning why on earth you left your house that night. That is until you walk into this lovely sea shack and none other than Tom greets you with a wide grin on his face. And more Prosecco, obviously — served from a keg to reduce bottle waste. Needless to say everything tastes wonderful and fresh. You also order more oysters because why not. By the end of the evening you roll out into the wind feeling like you’ve just been somewhere close to home. That also...

Tom’s Oyster Shack was right outside our hotel and a great option for a laid meal with a view. Tom’s has an effortlessly cool vibe with the perfect waterside location that makes you want to white wine away your afternoon.
What truly sets this spot apart is Tom himself. His knowledge and friendliness are unmatched. Whether you’re an oyster expert or just curious, Tom will guide you through the best the region has to offer with warmth and humor.
I had a selection of oysters, chosen with help from Tom and the tuna melt. Everything hit the spot and was delicious.
