An incredibly annoying experience. We opted to have lunch here on a weekday as a large group with children. During the week, no kids' menu is available - this was not communicated to us when we booked over the phone despite us telling them we had children. When we asked the waiting staff if any solution was possible for the kids, they shrugged and told us to figure it out ourselves. We ended up paying for adult dishes and manually splitting them amongst the kids.
That in itself wasn't the biggest issue - the biggest issue was that nothing on the menu was available. The menu is already quite small as it is, and none of the 'plats du jour' were available. In the end, we only had 3 dishes to choose from. Desserts were equally difficult with only 2 out of the 4 being available (one of the two deserts available also only had a limited stock left). Normally, I would have left pretty quickly upon learning this, but it's not easy to find alternative restaurants who can sit a large table without reservations.
The actual food was decent and the crème brûlée was good, but the portion sizes were a bit small - a few people came out still feeling hungry. I didn't come out feeling that what I'd eaten was worth the steep price point of €22 for a main dish. They also charged us for tap water, which is not customary in France (and isn't allowed depending on local regulations). This, coupled with the unpleasantness and carelessness of the staff left a pretty sour impression...

Supposed to be for a buffet, well if you don’t eat fish (plus it was raw fish) or pork (charcuterie), that’s very very expensive for a little bit of cheese, some vegetables and French fries. For whoever eats fish or charcuterie I guess they’ll be happy. Would be very easy for them to add some chicken/turkey or dry beef charcuterie.
Only one server at the buffet so takes forever to get served. She touched every items with the same gloves to serve the plates. They should use serving pliers.
No real dessert buffet, we weren’t even sure there was dessert until we saw someone with a crème brûlée, we had to ask to a waiter to go get us some. There was some chocolate cake too.
We asked a staff member for a couple candles and he kept saying yes for sure in 30 seconds, 30 minutes later we still didn’t have anything. Asked at the bar and the women got them in 30 sec.
I won’t go back, if I pay 22€ it’s for something I can or like to eat.
Staff is friendly but they...

Cuisine: 9.5/10 I found this place by coincidence, in chouchou hotel, Paris, not far away from Lafayette. And I was not disappointed! Excellent comforting food! They propose menus on weekends! The roasted chicken was marvelous! Mouthwatering and delicious! The quiche is not less delicious tho! As well as the salad.. the desert was less good than other food!
