ALERT! If you are colored, please do not go to Fratelli. I grew up Spain, and I am currently living in Cali. It is my first time in my life that I felt like there is a discrimination obviously. It is not like we did not order enough food for 2 adults and 2 kids. We ordered 1 bottle of wine, 2 soft drink, 1 salad, and 4 entree.
Without any criticism regarding the color discrimination, food was mediocre. I usually do not go to google sponsored restaurants but, we thought we should try Italian around where we are staying.
Caesar salad: they used a frozen chicken patty (never seen chicken patty in Caesar salad) and the dressing is definitely not what you tasted even though it is said homemade.
Pizza Italianisimo: the fresh Mozzarella was spoiled. The taste was very tangy which you never tastes in the fresh mozzarella
Pizza regina: didnt taste it
Pizza diavolo: very low class italian pizza taste
Atmosphere: they play 90’s hiphop music. Very weird music for Italian restaurant
We requested water 4 times to 2 different servers and never got water.
We didnt get bread (which we didn’t need) but all other tables got.
Our food finally came to our table after 3 other tables got their dish even though they ordered food later.
Trust me it is not a huge restaurant. Everyone can see everything.
At last, I definitely do not recommend this restaurant. I never leave a bad review on small businesses. But this time, I really want the owner to educate employees regarding this matter that I experienced.
Thank you for...
Read moreThe service is prompt, staff is attentive, and the ambiance is ok. I ordered the Fratelli pizza and a glass of white wine; the dough was cooked to a crunchy texture, and overall, the pizza was tasty. However, it felt like it lacked the authentic Italian touch that one would expect from a top-rated Italian restaurant. On the other hand, the wine’s Temperature was perfect, it was delicious. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I might consider visiting again someday, but it's not currently my...
Read moreWe had dinner at Fratelli on our last night in Paris and couldn’t have chosen better! The fresh burrata (flown in from Italy three times a week) was incredible – easily the best we’ve tasted. Every dish was full of flavour and beautifully prepared. The waiter was warm and welcoming, and the family-friendly atmosphere made the whole evening relaxed and enjoyable. A real gem in Paris and a wonderful way to end our holiday....
