I stumbled across this Turkish restaurant and it was immediately clear why it was bustling with people. The culinary experience was exceptional, with each dish bursting with authentic flavors. The service at the restaurant was notably impressive, as the staff went above and beyond to ensure that our meals were delivered with remarkable speed.
I had the opportunity to try an assortment of cold mezzas, each offering a unique and delectable taste, perfectly setting the stage for the main course. The ground beef kabab, known as Adana, was a standout dish, cooked to perfection and seasoned expertly. Similarly, the chicken skewers were a delight, tender and flavorful, demonstrating the kitchen's skill in balancing spices and cooking techniques. Both dishes were a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality and authenticity in their cuisine.
The combination of the delicious food, swift and attentive service, and the vibrant atmosphere of the restaurant contributed to a truly enjoyable dining experience. It's no surprise that this Turkish restaurant attracts a crowd. It’s a culinary gem that delivers on both taste...
Read moreThis was our first Turkish experience so I can't tell you how authentic it is. We were visiting Paris with some friends who were willing to risk it and try something new, so glad we ended up here! I eat a lot of poultry and rarely enjoy beef, so it was disappointing to find most all their menu is only offered in beef. The waiter was pleasant and we were able to peruse the menu, eat and leave within a fairly short window of time (as we had reservations and couldn't linger beyond 50 minutes).
Houmous - nothing spectacular - but solid hummus Iskender - The rest of the party enjoyed this dish and wiped the plate clean with bits of pita. Kofte - meatballs Lahmacun - This was my favorite beef dish (as there wasn't a lot of beef on it)...but it may have been the least favorite dish of the table - doesn't mean it was bad! Just the Kofte & Iskender were better flavors. Mucver - While I had to talk the table into ordering these veggie patties, they were enjoyed by all with the...
Read moreJust off the Champs Élysées, this is a great restaurant. We ordered the very well-priced vegetarian menu and were very happy with it! The bread alone was enough to come back to this restaurant! Don't come to Europe and expect superfast table service. Europeans, and the French especially, like to sit and enjoy the food they are eating. The serving staff were attentive enough when needed and didn't push you to leave the table as soon as possible once your last bite was finished. Overall, this restaurant had a great atmosphere. We visited on one of the hottest days of the year but the open windows kept the temperature inside ok. We loved this place! We were only sad when the neighboring table ordered a scrumptious looking baklava for dessert and we realized that we couldn't possibly eat another bite! Be warned, pace yourselves with the bread! I know it's too good but know that there are desserts to...
