We visited this restaurant around 20:30 and were very disappointed. The waiter was rude and unhelpful, didn’t know the menu or wine list, and gave us tap water instead of bottled. We ordered a large oyster tasting plate (€90) and two main dishes — the food was ok, but the service completely ruined the experience.
At 21:30, the waiter started taking our plates while we were still eating. When we said we weren’t finished, he told us they were closing soon, even though other guests were still dining and the restaurant was open until 22:30. After that, he pretended not to understand English.

Read moreMy mother and I stayed in the neighborhood and we liked it so much we came here twice in one week. I’m from Cape Cod so I’m very picky about my seafood and this place is wonderful. The oysters were some of the best I’ve ever had. The experience begins with a basket of warm bread and a dish of their wonderful homemade rillette. The sardines are excellent, as is the fish soup. We were so happy with the food I forgot to take pictures! The staff is very warm and welcoming, whether you speak French or not (I do, but my mom doesn’t). The ambiance is lovely as well. Read moreAlthough the food was good, nothing special and some of the oysters on our platter did not taste fresh, what spoilt the whole experience and atmosphere was the attitude and behaviour of the lady who welcomed and served us. Initially she was filing her nails at the entrance to the shop. Then when she seated us next to the entrance although the indoor dining area was completely empty she reprimanded us for shifting a chair to the side of the table stating that we were blocking access to the corner table (which of course was empty). This left us a bad impression and made us feel uncomfortable throughout the rest...
