Marius et Janette — Restaurant in Paris

Our uber driver recommended this place for us we were really excited to try out this place but unfortunately to our disappointment the customer service here was horrible. We have to leave before we even start ordering any food. When we first entered we ask the waiter if there is any English menu, he told us no and said to us there is only fish for this restaurant. We are fine with it because we are here for the seafood. After we sat down the waiter have us waited for long before serving us. He started to serve someone who came after us first. Since we can't read French, we would like a little bit help or recommendation from the waiter but when we finally have the waiter came his attitude was really bad, he seem really reluctant to serve us/ help us. He wasn't trying to help us at all and just turn his back on us when we said we are ready to order. We decided to leave because we do not think we deserve this kind of service and attitude...

Without expectation, but a good sense that it was going to be a great lunch spot we booked on line asked for a table inside by a window with a view (got to sit in the former president Jacque Chirac’s usual weekend table may he RIP ) the table was discreet and quite in a very busy restaraunt the service was immaculate from the start till the end, all dishes from the Oysters /steamed langoustines / Les coques / salmon with Sorrel and the John Dory with artichoke were splendid and showed the chefs not only knew their stuff but cared as well, the selection of Champagnes /Wines on offer were more than acceptable if slightly limited (which seems to be a common theme in Paris and surrounds at the moment ) I would highly recommend this establishment for anyone wanting to experience a good quality Parisienne meal with out paying for the...

I believe they have good food base on reviews and my uber driver recommended this place to us , haven't got a chance to try , we left becuase they have really bad costumers service and this place don't welcome people that is not France ,I am extremely disappointed , this guy ruin my day, when we walk in , he didn't want to serve us , we have to ask him twice is there a menu or English menu , we ended up have to get the menu from front desk our selves , he point to a seat and no one walk us there , no one serve us water or anything , until we see the guy again and ask if we may have some water or order food ?
