(2023) Very friendly service. We don’t speak French, but it was not an issue. Food is excellent. We ordered octopus and bone marrow as appetizers, and pork ribeye and skirk steak as main dishes. Wine paring was delicious as well. Too full to order dessert. Next table did enjoy a huge size profiterole of with three scoops of ice cream and chocolate sauce. (2024) We revisited this restaurant a year later, and we brought three additional guests. I am super happy to say the food, service, and atmosphere remain superb. We ordered steak, pork chop, and tuna. None of us could finish the three course meals and have to brought the remaining dish back to the hotel for breakfast. The table wine was delicious as well.
We will come back next year with more guests! (2025) We revisited this restaurant again and we brought our daughter, her high-school friend with us.
We are happy to report the food quality and service remain amazing. We ordered bone marrow, clam, and white asparagus as appetizers; we had dry-aged ribeye steaks, salmon, hanger steak, and pork chop as main dish; finally we ordered creme brulee, owner's grandma's recipe cake, and lava cake as desserts. Excellent meal.
During this visit, restaurant is doing well business-wise. The entire...
Read moreThe atmosphere is quite charming, with very welcoming staff, paying close attention to your every needs and going above and beyond to make your dining experience as pleasant and memorable as possible. Tables are a bit too cramped and not much intimacy for the ones who are more shy. I understand it is a more a cultural aspect rather than anything else. The food arrived in 2 or 3 minutes after we ordered, while we were savoring the decent Bordeaux wine. Sorry guys, my wife is Georgian and the wines I tasted over there were better than this specific one, can't judge the others on the menu but I am sure they are of good quality. I might be wrong but the duck breast seemed like it was previously cooked and just warmed up, which felt more like a takeaway. The side dish of roasted potatoes with, what I assumed to be, carrot saute, was good. Tasted like my mother's cooking. My wife enjoyed her Breton sausage filled with tripe, although she would have preferred it to be spicier but it is just a personal preference. Desserts were the stars of the dinner. They excelled and were delicious, 5 stars, bravo 👏 Thank you for your hospitality. We will return again for dessert....
Read moreOur first night in Paris, and it was a superb dinner experience. Still one of our best experiences not only in Paris but the few many trips we had made to Paris. Food was amazing and quintessential - marrow, foie gras, duck breast, ravioli and wine recommended were all on point. Restaurant is exactly what you’d expect of a traditional Parisian bistro with a local vibe and dominantly French patrons. Special mention to lady host who made the whole place warm and welcoming as if you were at home, with jokes and charming banter with our 5year old boy: she took time to find out what we wanted, recommended quickly, checked in, always had an eye us and the water/bread basket, and without missing a beat always got us (esp my boy) in what we needed without us so much asking. So much charm in the way they serve. We will def put it in our list for our next visit to Paris, and will strongly recommend anyone reading to this lovely...
