Worst experience ever in my lifetime in a beautiful street!!!
All the Staffs are extremely unprofessional to be honest in a beautiful place like Geoge V. The first impression of the reception was without any welcoming with very least professionalism.
Secondly the staffs are that, point of unprofessional that they didn’t even bother that we are waiting for them to receive us.
Third point, one service man came to us at the end of after 10 minutes or 15 minutes, i started choosing one bottle of wine which is expensive as compare to other places in Paris, we neglected the price as we know that we are in a chic place like George V but unfortunately the service man mentioned the price of the bottle of wine which i didn’t asked him a price at all. After that the service man asked us about bottle of water and we denied at the first time he constantly asking us second time as he knows that we already denied the bottle of water.
Fourth point to be noted when the bottle of wine arrives it was not the bottle which we have ordered and insisted us. We are very shocked that how unprofessional team in such a beautiful street we felt really pity to see a beautiful restaurant with unprofessional staffs.
Lastly we have talked to a manager himself to talk about our bad experiences and he couldn’t help because he is also included in unprofessional team so we decided to left the place like we never experienced in our whole life.
2 years before one of my close friend recommended this restaurant and i kept in mind to visit one day but the experience we had last night was horrible and i will never recommend to anyone to receive these kind of experience. Its over priced, unprofessional and unacceptable services.
Its better to visit Fouquet´s which is located opposite of the Miss Ko or other beautiful palaces in Paris which is expensive but...
Read moreDrinks and decor were great. Niko sour was amazing and made just right with the live DJ spinning some good beats. Which brings us to the food which I hate to say is just sub par. Not sure if it is just because the fusion didn’t quite work out, but flavors were neither developed or elevated in the crossover for the dishes ordered.
Bao burger - Asian slaw was not quite acidic enough and is just an afterthought. Feel this could have been the star of this crossover if done right. But instead, the truffle in the burger took over the whole dish. Beef also just lacked flavor and needs some seasoning. Tough because the actual Bao was perfectly made. Green bean fries were decent as a side but they turned into bouquets with the batter joining them into groups of five.
Gua Bao Beef - not sure what is happening here, but flavor of the beef was overtaken by the teriyaki or chili sauce it was drenched in. This dish kind of feels like it does when you put a chicken nugget into the entirety of the sweet and sour dipping cup and the nugget just accompanies the sauce.
Crispy salmon & cream - where to begin. Traditionalist would just roll their eyes. Ingredient wise, this is basically a Philadelphia roll. Salmon, cream cheese, seaweed and sushi rice - what could go wrong. Well, seems like a lot. Let’s start with this question: why is the salmon cooked in a salmon sushi roll? Then let’s ask why a sushi roll is subsequently deep fried as a whole and then covered in teriyaki. Not to mention that just your basic sushi rice is just steamed rice lacking any flavor whatsoever. Sad as this was something our bartender recommended.
At the end of the day, I would need to be well inebriated to order the food again. Which I guess is their saving grace as their drinks are amazing - but honestly just skip...
Read moreMy friends and I went to Paris for our holidays. Miss Kô was on our list of to-experience. We saw videos of Miss Kô on Tiktok and were very curious. The presentation of the restaurant is really nice. I loved the theme and the staff were quite nice.
However regarding the food, I feel like it's a bit underwhelming, but that could be due to our choices of sushi. The prices were a bit on the expensive side. Three mochi for €13? Maybe they're gigantic ones, but we still thought it was way too expensive. However, the sushi we picked were simply not as amazing as we hoped it would be. My friend and I chose the same sushi, Crispy Tài Tài, which just maybe have been not the right choice for us. It was very tough to chew. The rice was a bit too crunchy in our opinion, which made it not a nice experience or dish.
We also ordered Pouss’ Pouss’ Tempura and Kōhaï Platter which were quite nice. Maybe we should try more of the other sushis next time. Also, the drinks we chose were very nice I think. We picked two of the bubble tea drinks (Kiwi-Litchee), those were amazing and another friend picked a cocktail (which I don't remember the name of), but those were nice! :)
Again, we think the presentation is very nice. It's a very instagrammable place! Check out their website, it's really cool. Even the menu design is very creative and aesthetic. The dessert menu is designed as a flight ticket and wrapped by a 'passport' which belongs to Miss Kô. Very original and creative. That's why I rated it four stars, because I feel like I could have misjudged this place. Should go another time for a...
