They messed up my order, I wanted a mango boba tea, they gave me the one with juice and no milk or tapioca, I apologised for the inconvenience because I actually asked for the typical bubble tea with tapioca, the guy looks at me bothered and took it back to change the bubble balls with tapioca, I again said that this is not what I meant, I had to specify that I meant the one with tea, milk, tapioca and mango, they said I should pay again and I did, I was tired already because they didn’t give me anywhere to sit and I was waiting in the middle of the rushing crowd, when I received it I was greeted in the exit that they also got that order wrong because I was given one that tasted nothing like mango and had some different fruit, and I had tried the mango one before, I also asked for a bag to put these two drinks in and was almost just let pff in my hand like I was not holding two drinks already, they didn’t help me and I was let out having to balance the drinks in the carbon bag that was way too big for the drinks. Horrible experience, was really hoping for...

One has to understand the 5 star rating this department store gets. The ladies department is a seperate 6 story building in the heart of Paris... With the men's department being in a seperate building across the road. Each level has a differrent theme, being cosmetics, footwear, couture and accessories.

Within the ladies there are several open plan store in store concepts representing every major brand in the build EG. Yves Saint Lauren, Bulgari, van cleef, Jimmy Choo, Gucci etc etc. The men's boast an equally impressive range of brands like Hugo boss, Dunhill and the like

I visited this store just before Christmas and there was this gorgeous trimmed Christmas tree suspended from the roof. It was second to none they I have ever encountered in my travels.

Now the down part. This is 5 star... And it is expensive.... Very very expensive. Don't expect cheapies or budget shopping. This is Europe, and it's Paris and it's couture. So if u have to ask the price... Like me... U probably can't...

Movenpick ice-cream is known for its delicious taste. We came to grab one and go up to enjoy Paris view on the 7th floor of Galeries Lafayette. I wanted to taste one flavor, to be sure for ordering, but the staff refused. I took 2 flavors : “Rome raisin” and “ Espresso crustillant”. I have hazelnuts intolerance, though, it wasn’t notice that “espresso croustillant » has hazelnuts. Only when I tasted it from a bought ice-cream, I discovered its taste. Firstly, the staff refused the fact, that there was a hazelnut in this flavor. Then they rad the composition and confirmed the hazelnuts in the ingredients. They took my 2 flavors ice-cream, took away “espresso” one and added the one I’ve chosen. It is rare to witness such a low level of service!
