Ordered two mains. My chicken biryani was very good but my partner’s gambas (prawns) were a little bit on the burnt side. Portions were very generous.
Garlic naan was large and delicious. The chicken biryani I definitely enjoyed - ordered spicy and it was a good spice but not overly so for me. The raisins and fragrance of the rice in my biryani provided some subtle sweetness that was very pleasant. I tried my partner’s and also enjoyed the masala which you would like if you like a significantly sweeter sauce/curry (which I do!) but some may not.

Read moreWe just had dinner at Raja's and it was incredible! Service was very warm, we were treated like guests in someone's home. I tend to like my food very spicy for a westerner and I was warned that the full spice level may be too much. At the chef's recommendation I ordered a 2.5/3 spice level and for me personally it could have been spicier, but the flavours were amazing. Very generous portion sizes, we are so full! I would buy a jar of the pickles they provided before our meal they were so good. We are only in Paris for a few days but we will probably go back once more...

It was a good discovery. Small restaurant with tasty Indian food and reasonable prices. I took cheese naan which was prepared in front of us, very delicious and fresh. I tried Biryani chicken a bit spicy but delicious. I tried as well butter chicken and was in deed delicious.
