I found this place on a gluten-free blog, so I was excited to try this 100% gluten-free Italian restaurant. I made a reservation but showed up 15 minutes early, so we were just seated at our reservation time. We ordered bread and a couple appetizers which were brought out quickly. However, after we placed our main entree order, we waited nearly an hour and a half. The staff did not check in on us and we saw people that sat after us get their food and finish dining all while I was starving and eating an entire basket of bread. We were too nervous to ask them where our food was after a while because we didn't want to seem like rude tourists. Finally, my dad asked where the food was and yes they did forget our order. Then they brought it out in just short of 10 minutes. I wanted to order dessert, but since they took so long to give us our entrees, it was already 10PM and we just wanted to leave. Aside from the service, the pasta was delicious!
I had gluten-free ravioli (I have not had ravioli in so long because nowhere have I seen gluten-free ravioli in the United States). The gluten-free bread was decent and the olive oil and balsamic vinegar were great. We also ordered the eggplant parmesan and a veggie focaccia. I thought the veggies would be baked into the focaccia but it was merely like a sandwich. I don't think it was worth it for the price–just get the plain focaccia. And the eggplant parmesan was just a few huge long pieces of sliced eggplant with a huge thing of melted cheese on top. That was not what I was expecting. I was wondering where the crispy breaded part was because that's normally how eggplant...

While in Paris, we have gone twice (so far). Tasca was bursting at the seems when we came upon it the evening of Aug 7, but somehow we were seated moments upon walking up. The first evening we sat outside and were comfortable and the food was delicious, savory, truly Italian and sans gluten. Lasagna Bolognese, Basil Gnocchi, Fettuccine Carbonara.
The second evening we didn’t bother making a reservation and we were seated in 30 min, larger tables be aware you will be hard pressed to find seating for over 4 people. We ordered the Friendship Starter, while it’s labeled for two it was plenty for us. Our Main courses; Fettuccine Bolognese, Potato Gnocchi with Parmesan & Ravioli Parma Ham. It seems if you order anything with the Bolognese you will be delighted, the sauce is deeply flavorful with the beef pairing perfectly. The Ravioli for calm consumption, savor it, and the potato Gnocchi buttery and filling. All suitable for sharing for a taste of it all.
We topped it off with ice cream, all shared again, Chocolate, Passion Fruit and Pistachio. The three in separate bowls and devoured equally as fast. Would highly recommend the Passion Fruit, the taste is phenomenal.
The staff is friendly and about their business as they are very busy, but attentive and quick.
Tasca is a small, busy little restaurant that is a must try wether your avoiding...

Reservation: Although we had booked a table for 6 people, there were only 2 small tables (for 4 people). We insisted that a third table be added as it would have been too cramped or impossible to put 6 chairs around the table. The third table that was added was not the same as the other two (it was higher). There was no more room outside the restaurant, so we ended up sitting on the pavement to the right of the restaurant. While another table and chairs were being set up, the host was annoyed and very unfriendly. Ordering: As we had three children with us, we first ordered a plate of pasta (without anything) for all three of them, so that they would have something to eat as soon as possible. It took almost an hour for the pasta to be delivered.
The service staff spoke and understood no English and very little French. The quality of the food: The artichoke salad was almost inedible, hard artichokes in some dressing. .... The pizzas tasted like frozen pizzas. Completely tasteless and exactly what a boring frozen pizza tastes like. The wine: We ordered the open house wine. 1 carafe of half a litre cost 23 euros! The quality of the wine was not worth the price. The red wine was sour, the white quite tasteless. Conclusio: Unfriendly, overpriced, there are other restaurants in Paris that serve gluten-free food and they are much better.
