The Family — Restaurant in Paris

I don't care how long you are in Paris, you need to try this place out. I promise you may want to go back multiple times after the first. I was researching beforehand for somewhere to have dinner with my daughter on our mother/daughter trip while we would be in Paris. After a lot of research and countless reviews, The Family stood out to me and I was super excited to try it.

I initially made a reservation because I saw that it could get busy. My daughter is Autistic and traveling abroad was already new for her but being in big crowds and trying new foods at the same time, I knew would be overwhelming so I wanted to make sure we got in before this location got busy.

We were staying at Hotel Square Louvois, so it was not a far walk to the restaurant. Upon arrival there were only a couple of other people there including a couple sitting at the table near us. From the initial walk in and exchanging greetings in my limited French, the service was amazing. We had a chance to hear the story of how the restaurant came to be from one of the owners and was served by him as well.

The food we had was absolutely delicious and the drinks I ordered were amazing. Between the atmosphere, service, and the food, I would have come back to eat the next day if we weren't leaving. Do yourself a favor and go eat here. No matter where you are from you will feel like Family before you leave. French Toast for dessert was something like I have never had back in the US and my daughter loved it also. Right before we left, it started to get busy so if you are looking to not be in the crowds 17:30pm/5:30pm is a good time to go. It is when we went and was absolutely fabulous. I would have definitely went later if I didn't have my daughter but either way, you don't want to miss...

This is the best place to eat as a tourist, local, or someone on extended stay in Paris. During our 11 day trip we went here 4 times. Thats how much we loved this restaurant. It wasn’t just the food that was amazing, it was the quick service, hospitality, the welcoming atmosphere. Words cannot describe how amazing this place was. We found this restaurant after going to the department store. It was my husband’s birthday. During the dinner i snuck out to buy candles and the owners put candles and sung with me for his birthday. The owners of this restaurant really care about their customers, made us feel welcomed and appreciated. When we asked or needed something that took care of it immediately even offering suggestions like sauces if we needed it - very proactive. It was definitely a different service than eating at some of the other local spots. I really felt they deserved our business and cared for us as they say “family”. Never in my life have i gone to the same restaurant 4 times while traveling. We even went out of our way to make pit stops to eat here because we just loved the owners and the food. If ever we come back it’s because of how welcomed we felt with Jeremy, Bilal, and Felix. They treated us like family and even up to now my husband and I miss and appreciate them so much. Ok so, We went with my family to eat at your restaurant and we had probably the worst experience of our lives. Ill say one thing, the three of us ate the same burger, it was the first in the catalog, and we got food poisoning. I was throwing up for the whole flight home, and when we got home my parents started throwing up as well. I went to the hospital and the nurses confirmed I had food poisioning and my only meal WAS YOUR BURGER. I am sure because the symptoms happened later that day.

I wish I saw more negative reviews because it was unacceptable and unsafe. Dont go there there are many better restaurants to eat. TRUST ME.

I saw your inappropriate and arrogant response and I have to tell you that your burger was the only meal I had that day because I had to catch my flight later.
