L'Eden Libre de Gluten Strasbourg — Restaurant in Strasbourg

Great selection of great tasting gluten free pastries and breads. We have been on many occasions and this is always a stopping point for our trip to Strasbourg.

The pastries are indistinguishable from those containing gluten and the selection of sandwiches is normally quite large, assuming one goes before midday and not during the Christmas markets, where the stocks quickly deplete.

Also sold in the store are a mixture of gluten free flours, plus novel flours auch as tomato and melon flours.

It offers a sit in experience with a small array of seats and tables.

They sell some coffee beans, but their coffee machine is not an espresso machine and the coffee served tastes a little disappointing.

Other drinks offered are silky smooth hot chocolate and some soft drinks and gluten free beers I have yet to see elsewhere.

I would recommend anyone who has coeliacs or other gluten sensitivity to visit this location, and unlike many other cities, such a great cafe is very accessible near the main old town areas, not many kilometers on the outskirts...

Extremely expensive, the service was terrible and I think it was over valued. I was almost cheated. I ordered something and they wanted go charge me with a bill so much higher than I really have to pay and then they corrected because I asked to check. Additionally , I order a quiche and I took it away and when I eat it it was the one from the day , so it wasn't what I ordered. I was so disappointed and upset. They quiche of the day wasn't popular and nobody wanted and maybe the error wasn't a real error. To be honest, I don't recomend this place, especially after waiting for more than 30 min to order...it...

After 20 min of searching for breakfast for my Celiac partner online we fell into this establishment. I ended up getting a simple pastry man and Americano while she spent a while reviewing the multitude of options available. Coming from the US, we are not experienced with the variety and quality available at a place like this. The staff was extremely inviting, the atmosphere is comfortable and calm and the pastries are so well made that I could not tell they were Gluten Free. Would recommend to anyone Celiac due to the entire shop being a GF...
