Asked for the steak medium rare, it arrived more like well done. Sent it back and received a rare steak, but it was certainly delicious. Had I gotten what I asked for the first time the meal would be a 5/5.

The frites my table had were not twice fried, but I later saw frites that did look twice fried. Perhaps arrived before the kitchen had time to prepare frites properly.

Desert was superb.

All the servers were genial, especially the one serving us. I give it 5/5 for service even though they brought the mains before asking if I finished the entree (maybe if they waited longer I would’ve gotten crisp frites), and forgot a drink order. Perfect in all. I visited this restaurant several times for lunch and several dinners in the evening. Preferable to reserve. The best carpaccio you can get in Strasbourg. The service is open, relaxed and in several languages. Here you will feel more than welcome. Lunch, it could be completely full, no worries, they might place an extra table on the terrace.
