We stumbled upon Starling Burgers on a whim and left absolutely thrilled. The burgers are hands‑down some of the best we’ve ever tasted—juicy, perfectly seasoned, and served on a soft, toasted bun that holds everything together without getting soggy. But what truly sets this place apart is its hidden‑gem beer selection, curated for true connoisseurs.

During our visit we sampled two standout brews:

Abbaye de Saint Bon‑Chien Grand Cru (2020) – Sangiovese – This deep amber ale revealed rich malt flavors that unfolded into notes of dried cherries, subtle spice, and a gentle tannic finish. It paired beautifully with the burger’s caramelized onions and smoked cheddar, highlighting both the food and the beer. Wow, a great burger place in the heart of Strasbourg. One of the best tasting burgers we've had. The regular offer is maybe a bit small by North American standards but it was perfect for us. If you are a carnisaur you can upgrade the size to two larger offers. They have a nice selection of tap beers and wines by the glass although we found the St Martin red to be a bit sweet alongside the burger but it was a good wine. The service was good and friendly. They offer beef, chicken and a vegetarian choice. My critiques are that maybe a couple other burger selections would be nice. They do offer a small green salad but I'd like to see a couple of large salad selections to satisfy groups or even couples that want to share. The burgers are always really good. There are many interesting options, one of which changes quite often (not on the menu, and I think every 2-4 weeks changes). You are not happy with the options: no problems, make your own assembly! The fries are nicely crunchy and a wide range of sauces (beer one the best for me!)

They also have some special beers. They often change the beer offer as well (happy hour till 20.00, if I'm not mistaken)

The service is really good and the personnel are very friendly :)
