This is a quiet little place that’s easy to miss. The tables and walls inside are hand painted and quirky, but the real USP of the place is its balcony. You sit at a table there, with the railing and pillars made out of old wood with the most beautiful grain, and look onto the cobbled street below, hear someone playing songs from the 90s or even the 60s, and look at the river Kura with lights shimmering on it, and the gentle arc of the Bridge of Peace, and the city lights on the hills a little further away. You can see the boxes moving on the funicular line to the top of the hill, and there was a huge hot air balloon (not sure if it carries people or if it’s just an advertisement or some such). I only had a homemade lemonade and “Beans in a Pot”. I’m vegetarian and there were plenty of other vegetarian and what looked like vegan options. The lemonade was what the doctor ordered after a long walk in the city. And the Beans in a Pot was comfort itself - red kidney beans, spices and a coriander garnish. It was like rajma in north India, but with different spice notes from the ones we have. I wished I could have a squeeze of lime on the side though, but that’s just me with my Indian palate. I’ll go back certainly to try their khachapuri and some other Georgian cheesy delights and vegetable dishes on their menu. The service was great, though the staff seemed a bit overworked, they had to be on the run all the time, and still managed to pay attention to all the tables and really made me...

The male server was nice and helpful to me, however the food was not good. And it was very expensive.
However the 1 star comes from a broken wine glass. They make you pay for a broken glass when the wind blows it on the ground. I told the lady how the glass broke and she immediately took the bill and gave me a new bill +7€. In what world does ONE wine glass cost 7€?
See photo for wind blowing stuff. I tried to explain to her what am I supposed to do if the wind blows and breaks a glass? She just says “it’s in your table, you pay”. It was already expensive, but then with a 7€ broken glass, I paid 40€ for 2 glasses of wine, and some bad food. Keep in mind Georgia is very cheap, you should never pay 40€ for one person. Bad service slow people, and expensive rude. 0 stars.
From the outside it looks like a tourist trap- it is way worse. Save some money and get cheaper better food in...
Read moreThe food was okay, but overall, people in Georgia seem quite rude—I’m not sure why. We were traveling and it was our last day in Tbilisi, so we were looking for a nice place to end our trip. As we were walking toward another restaurant, a waiter from this one convinced us to come in. There was a balcony, but it was extremely hot outside, so we chose to sit inside. At the time, there were two other guests inside. Once they left, the staff turned off the AC. After placing our order, we politely asked the waiter to turn the AC back on. Instead, he told us to sit outside. We explained that it was too hot, but he still refused to switch the AC on. The service was disappointing, and to make things worse, there was an insect inside the restaurant which a waiter casually picked up.we had to wait eternity for getting the bill too Honestly, the experience was very underwhelming despite...
