Piano is an average Italian restaurant, and a bit pricey for the overall quality.
The waitress, Mancho, is kind and welcoming. She offered us Limoncello, which was tasty and felt like something they made. 😊 There was a live piano player, which added to the nice ambience, but the piano is old and not well tuned. 😉
We Bruschetta had for appetizers. The bread was fresh but only the sauteed mushrooms were tasty, maybe because of the butter they used. However, the other items weren't very tasty. We also had Salmon Tartar. The salmon was ok, the dressing was tasty with the lemon juice they used, but the avocado felt a bit old and its color was dark.
As for the main dishes, we had Truffle Tagliatelle and Ravioli with Ricotta Cheese. The Truffle Tagliatelle was ok, but the truffles were missing as you can see in the picture. When I asked the waitress about the truffles in older reviews, she said that they don't do it the same way anymore 😞 As for the Ravioli, it was very disappointing. Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at 'Piano', an Italian restaurant nestled in the heart of Tbilisi, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I stepped in, the cozy and inviting ambiance enveloped me, making me feel right at home. The warmth of the decor and the subtle charm of the place set the perfect stage for a memorable meal.
The service was impeccable - friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Each staff member I interacted with was genuinely nice, adding a personal touch to the dining experience.
But the real star of the show was the food. Authentic Italian cuisine, each dish bursting with flavors that transported me straight to Italy. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors were well-balanced, and every bite was a celebration of culinary excellence. It's not just food; it's an authentic Italian experience on a plate.
In a nutshell, 'Piano' is not just a restaurant; it's a delightful journey to Italy right in Tbilisi. Five stars...
Read moreI recommend this place to visit. We went to eat and just relax on one hot and beautiful day in Tbilisi. The restaurant has air conditioning, but guests can also sit on the terrace. Before ordering, I asked the waiter in which language it would be comfortable for him to take the order (we agreed in Russian). At the same time, I saw how the waiter took the order from the guest in English. We ordered two types of pasta, dessert, and a couple of cocktails. Everything was at the highest level: delicious pasta, refreshing cocktails, and a nice dessert. Also, if the client wishes, you can pack food in a container. We will definitely revisit this...
