I have mixed feeling about this place. It’s still new, still discovering it’s identity. Let’s talk about the food, my friends loved it, it’s very delicious (Read Full Review)
We really liked the food especially the noodle broth for Ban Mian. We tried a lot of dishes dumplings and some quick shares. BUT‼️… If it’s your first time here, there’s a few things you need to know:
✅cash only - bring €20-30 of your not hungry. Share everything with your friends. Solo €30/40 would be better experience. ✅ order everything at once, it’s pretty busy place and they get overwhelmed fast, you can forget about getting a return service. Basically they will comeback once done. ✅ everything adds up, with each dish has very small portions and things it adds up quickly for you and your friends. 3 people you’d spend about €20 each. Which isn’t bad but that’s dumplings/noodles and drink. ✅ ask yourself how hungry you are? Like unmentioned the portions are small so it won’t fill you up unless you spend a little more. €30/40 if you really are hungry. ✅check your order after you’ve ordered, once the food arrives and things are missing, it will take a VERY,LONG TIME for your other items to arrived especially they once’s the missed. ✅ the bill, just get up and go to the front counter and pay. They won’t have to come back to you. Grab your jacket and stuff and walk to the front. ✅ Make sure you order everything in the beginning, just make sure you do this for the best experience.
THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. Tasty and authentic. Really liked it. Cute place and very clean. Lovely place and we’d definitely come back to the check it out. They accidentally made a third steam bun and it was a nice bonus! I can’t wait to come back to this place in a few months.

Dishes (- negative / = ok / + positive): First of all it is important that you mix the dumpling sauce well to your taste so that you get the full umami experience. Mix soy sauce and vinegar depending on how salty or sour you like it. Add spicy sauce on top of the dumplings pan-fried chicken dumplings: delicious with tasty spices; good quality meat classic pan-fried dumplings: delicious with tasty spicing; good quality meat = beef dumplings ok but the others are better = pan-Fried vegan dumplings: not my favorite, a bit bland great cucumber appetizers: very tasty well-rounded sauce great pak Choi appetizer appetizer: delicious sauce I recommend eating both with the dumplings as sides spicy noodles with tofu: not well-rounded; only spicy -/+ Xiao long bao (soup dumplings): not my favorite, a bit too sweet but my wife said the best in Europe apart from Din Tai Fung in London dumplings with shrimp: delicious, I haven’t ever had them in this style
Service: friendly and quick Chinese style a bit too much in a rush
Price: good price for value €31 per person for dinner including tips but we had a lot of dishes

Read moreWas excited to come try this place as I love a good dumpling. Unfortunately the quality and taste was super disappointing :(
The Silk Tofu dish was ice and ice cold, cut in 8 large pieces so therefore the marinade didn’t get the chance to really soak into the tofu. Whenever a menu has silk tofu on their menu I take it, because I thought you can’t go wrong with it. Turns out you can 😅
The soup dumplings all leaked so there was no broth inside anymore. For €8.50 it was waaaay to pricey for a few tiny dumplings with simple meat inside.
The steamed buns barely had any filling, almost every bite was just dough. Very unpleasant.
As my friend is vegan she ordered the two vegan options for the dumplings. Unfortunately they were both the exact same filling, so very boring experience for her.
I was excited to try the Yuzu Lemonade, but €6.50 for a lemonade!? You can’t be serious right?
If you want to eat amazing, authentic with a twist, dumplings - go to Yumcha Heroes, those are truly the best dumplings in Berlin and worth...
