Maracay Coffee — Restaurant in Berlin

22 August 2023 7.40. I came in because I wanted to ask for help with getting out of the parking lot as I never used it before and don't speak German. Woman working there didn't even ask what I needed, she rudely interrupted me saying we're closed. She did not care about another human at all. I work in the area a lot and was even happy to find a new coffee spot for the future, however now I don't feel like ever coming in again. Shame on that woman. We all have problems, it doesn't meant we should treat each other like they're worthless.

Edit: Brother, I know what a language barrier looks like. She is rude and sour. Don't try to explain her behaviour. It's unacceptable and the more people like her get away with it the more they think it's ok to act this way. If she worked for me she'd be fired immediately to teach her a lesson of how valuable cooperation between people is, even if you don't like them. Here's 3stars for trying to solve the problem. If you let her go I'd give you 5. It's all...

Breakfast was good. Nice salmon, excellent eggs (just okay American white bread and multigrain roll...don't come here for German bread). Unfortunately they didn't tell me the (well advertised on the outside) wifi was broken till after I'd ordered. I was there for the wifi, and would not have paid so much for breakfast if I hadn't been counting on it.

For me, this place was an expensive waste of time, because I had to eat my (large) breakfast in a hurry and then go elsewhere to buy something again in order to get wifi in order to figure out how to get to my hostel. However, wifi isn't everything, and this was situational. Horrible experience for me, but when they have wifi, or you're just getting coffee or breakfast it's a nice place,...

We went to this cafe with my friends on Sunday, and the whole experience was afwful. We ordered 2x scrambled eggs and some drinks and first of all the order was mixed up and my friend got fried eggs but its not such a big problem, the eggs were seasoned with plain vegeta with a salad with corn on the side (great choices were made especially if you ask someone to pay 8.70 euros for it). The ladies were super busy so I understand not everyone must have good mood on the days like this but still working in service requires to be at least a bit nice to the customers and not giving them a side eye if they didn't understand something what was said... quite disappointing for the current 4.3 stars on Google maps so sorry but definitely...
