• 2nd review in Jan 2023 * Returned to this bbq Chicken restaurant as we were craving for a proper K(orean)FC. It was a mid-week yet the restaurant was a full house and bustling. I didn't recognise any old staff and clearly the new staff (and could be a new manager?) did their best to cater for their hungry customers. We didn't mind waiting as they gave us heads up on delays (due to many delivery orders). We went for a classic sweet chilli ('secret bbq') chicken and they were VERY TASTY. Unfortunately, pickled radish is now all chargeable but at least the portion is reasonable. I'm glad we gave another try and happy to go back again.

Korean looking staff behind the counter was most unfriendly and difficult. We ordered a boneless fried chicken combo with two different sauces and some topokki with extra cheese. Everything was delicious! They understand the word "extra" I was very happy to see how much cheese they put on the topokki. Beer and soft drinks are available which go well with the chicken. If you cannot finish it the staff will give you some boxes to pack the food. The staff is bubbly and looks like they enjoy their job. They are welcoming and patient. I noticed they speak Korean, English and German. (maybe also other languages?) For us it was helpful since we are not from Germany. Are you looking for an authentic Korean fast food restaurant then this is the place to be. Other than chicken or topokki they have a wide range of other fried snacks (or just fries) They have different chicken flavors with sauces but also spices (cheese powder for example). If you choose the chicken with bone and you are afraid to get your hands dirty then you can request gloves and if you don't like gloves then know there is a bathroom available to wash your hands. Our first time trying Korean fried chicken and it was delicious! We had Combo 3 with boneless fried chicken in “Secret Sauce” and wings “Gangnam Style” plus fries with Jamaican mayo.

The food came fast and the disposable gloves made it fun and easy to eat. The chicken was super crispy and juicy even when covered in sauce. “Secret Sauce” was a bit too sweet for us after a few bites, but the Gangnam Style wings were perfectly balanced – spicy and flavorful.

The portion sizes were huge for two people. We noticed several other tables asking for doggy bags. Next time we’d probably go for one original fried chicken with dipping sauce, and one saucy fried chicken. Two saucy portions felt a bit overwhelming after a while.

It would’ve been nice if the staff had given us a heads-up about the portion sizes or helped recommend a better combo for first timers. BUT the food was seriously good and we’ll definitely be back next time we...
