I visisted Düsseldorf 40212 branch for the first time, as a customer , service wise it was good, communication wise NO. The guy his name is “Chriss” doesn’t know how to make Kasse. And I mean it, he is not a bad guy but he doesn’t know how to make kasse at all. I had a birthday free drink, and i ordered a cake and another drink and I told him the Venti drink is a reward which is free and the other one drink and cake i want to use my 30% partner discount. So he should make 2 receipts so he would not make it complicated. But he made the discount without doing the reward. And I ended up paying for the whole thing with my discount without using my reward drink. 2 women tried to help, but nothing happened they said he misunderstood you. and no storno or anything happened. Drinks should have been extra hot, but the guy made them “warm” not extra hot on the kassee. “Chriss” should be more trained as all the employees of Amrest DE. The store was not busy, however the ladies behind the counter were extremely slow, and definitely talked too much with each other instead of taking the orders. I got a job to do and like things to move quicker and more efficiently but that's my point of view.
The guests seem to leave their cups and utensils on the table and nobody seems to be cleaning after they leave. As shown in the pictures the tables and chairs are not clean. I don't know about you but here is Königs Allee and i wouldn't want to get chocolate, or strawberry on my expensive, brightly colored apparel.
Another thing with most Starbucks stores i notice is that the service employees act like they are the VIPs and further complicates the process of getting a cup of coffee in a reasonably timely manner.
I will probably visit small, local, family owned coffee shops the next time. Don't want to deal with the Starbucks nonsense until...
