Came here with friends for a birthday brunch and I have to admit it was lovely. This restaurant has a modern vibe but still feels cozy and welcoming in the heart of Frankfurt Altstadt. Overall the food was great - I had an eggs Benedict, and one of us ordered the hummus bowl - both really good. I would only criticize the avacado on the avacado toasts. I don't know if it is always this way or if we just got unlucky but it tasted sour and was almost fizzy on the tongue as if it had begun fermentation process like sour kraut or a kimchi and there were a few larger chunks that were rock hard... My chai was good but almost too sweet and tasted a bit like artificial sweetener.
Otherwise, as I said, the food was great, the other drinks were great, the waiter was friendly, and the atmosphere is amazing. I'd like to come again for dinner sometime. Perhaps if I return to Frankfurt one day I will do that.
Thanks for a...
Read moreWent here for the brunch/breakfast Menu as it was listed No. 1 on the timeout w website. I tried the Eggs Benedict and my girlfriend the salmon platter. The Eggs Benedict were good but had a lot of cooked Spinach between the egg and the bread, which added very little to the flavor of the dish while somewhat messing with the consistency. The salmon platter was quite small while being one of the most expensive items. This would be more of a side I think as it won’t really fill someones appetite. The cappuccino was very good. The venue looked nice and I’m sure it’s a cool place to hang out in the evenings but given it was rates No. 1 for Brunch on the Timeout website we had high hopes which weren’t quite met for Brunch. Next time I’ll try the more traditional dishes (the Moroccan/Israeli ones) and maybe visit for drinks but I’m not sure it will become my go-to place for...

Service was pretty slow, but the staff was genuinely friendly, so we didn’t mind too much.
Food was good, though not a lot of meat options for dinner—maybe because of the Middle Eastern influence? What we did try was solid: Lamb chops – Nicely seasoned, but slightly dry. The polenta was smooth and flavorful. Octopus – Cooked beautifully, tender with a nice hint of lemon that made it even better.
Overall, a nice spot for a laid-back dinner, especially if you enjoy Mediterranean/Middle...
