Came here for lunch, based on previous review had high hopes. Found the ordering system confusing as some were stood up at the counter to order whereas there was a single waitress also taking orders. We ordered the mixed starters, I had chicken teriyaki and my partner ordered roast duck. The food arrived fairly quickly however my food was cold. There was hardly any flavour and it was not at all enjoyable. My partner's roast duck was "all right', except he had asked for spicy and it wasn't spicy at all. The food itself and the kindness of the personel would make it 5 star rating; unfortunately, the meal was only tepid; I'm not a fanatic of hot food, but on a day at -2°C it is nice to have. I like the place, beautiful decoration, very kind service, not as arrogant as may other Asian places have it. I also like the way the food comes on a serving trolley. There were several choices in the lunchtime menu of variations with duck, chicken or vegetarian and I opted for amending the advertised chicken curry by having duck instead and this didn't cause a problem. Mary had crispy duck and was pleasantly surprised to find it was actually crispy. My curry included broccoli, green pepper and bamboo shoots and both our meals came with a portion of rice, a small bowl of sweet and sour soup and a small chocolate pudding dessert.
