I really dont know where to start, It is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. To begin with, a few seconds after we found a place where to sit, a waiter asked what we want to eat, I told him to give us 5 mins., in 30 seconds another waiter came with the same question. As for the food, we ordered 2 soups, which were size of tea cup, even smaller, and wasnt really good, as for the sushi, fish was cheap and wasnt really fresh, rise wasnt cooked well, it was very sticky. Also, they werent tasty and easily fall apart. After finishing eating, I asked to pay for everything and leave as soon as possible, but after asking for a bill for the THIRD time, we had to wait for 10 mins more. Unfortunately, it wasnt the end of our problems, since YOU CANNOT PAY WITH MASTER OR VISA CARD there. They told me they accept some other credit card, which I never neard of. So I had to look for atm, because in the centre of Munich you cannot pay with a credit card ... And yes, paypal or any other ways of paying also doesnt work, Im surprised they asked me to pay in Euro and not in yens or other currency.

Bottom line: terrible food, the worst service, never visiting...

Maggie Sushi Bar has been on my wishlist for a long time now. I’ve always seen a huge queue everytime I’ve passed by this restaurant. I visited here on a Sunday afternoon and it was peaceful, no waiting line. I recommend visiting on sundays. We sat out, it was sunny, perfect weather to eat sushi in my opinion. There was three interesting vegetarian sushi that I found on the menu. The crunchy roll and the one with the cream cheese was really good. I was disappointed with the maki roll because it wasn’t rolled well, kept falling out and was extremely salty even without dipping them into the soya sauce. The staff was kind enough to make us vegan pad Thai that wasn’t on the menu. Overall, the vibe was cool. Service was really good and...

Edit: they don't have the two for one promo anymore :( at least now with card payment...

Best bang for buck and decent sushi. On weekends you get two menus for the price of one and the sushi is very decent, definitely great for the price. A menu is typically made of rolls and nigiris and they contain somewhere between 15-18 pieces each. There's also a jumbo menu for two you also can get with the two for one deal. Friendly service as well, only drawback is cash only! I wish quick tap and go card payments...

The price-amount ratio is superb. Just look at that huge bowl of salmon that costs around 13€. Things tasted just great. Have to say it'sore to the Vietnamese side than japanese as one would have expected according to the name. The sake bowl is nice, and also the rice noodle bowl with beef (not soup). The bento box is soso and the crunchyrolls are rather salty, I personally didn't like it that much. It's completely open and there s tables on the street as well.
