Part of the Athens Backpackers Studios on Veikou, Athens. In the morning the place where you are greeted with a smile to get your coffee and tea to start your morning. In the evening the place to eat, drink, socialize with fellow travellers, enjoy the music and ofcourse, the place to watch any kinds of sportmatches from cricket to soccer. Incredible friendly staff, fast service, the possibility to pay by card. Large choice in beers: Mythos, Carling Lager, Guinness Nitro IPA and Guinness to name a few. You don't really like beer? The Athens Sportsbar also has a lot of cocktails and surely they have your favorite one too. No place inside? There is enough place outside from where you can follow your team on the screens outside. Hungry? No need to get up to go to the Bullseye bar next door. You can place and pay your order at the Sportsbar and your order will be brought to you. I took the Chicken Tenders Meal for just 5 euro 90. How much do you get for that? Thinking about Mcdonalds prices and how much you get there for the same amount I expected not much of it. I first came to Greece this past summer on a family trip. My aunt booked everything, but I was especially pleased with my experience at this hostel (my first time at a hostel in general). The breakfast was good, the rooms were decent, the wifi was strong, and the service was pretty great. One person I remember was Dimitris, he always had the most inviting smile and he did a good job of making one feel at home and having a good time. I loved Greece so much that I came back by myself in October. I knew I would spend some days in Athens again and decided book a stay here again.
