The location, at the foot of the acropolis is worth the stars. It was on the walkway with a lot of other restaurants and looked nice, with a menu that was very Greek. Firstly they had a number of tables free as it was quite early 6:30ish. We asked if could have a table and were brusquely asked if we wanted dinner, to which we replied yes. My partner the asked if we didn’t could we still get a table and the answer was no. We thought fair enough, we were having dinner anyway, but their manner was rude. We then ordered a glass of wine each, bottle of water and one lamb kebab meal and one chicken kebab meal. The wine was not very nice and the kebabs were awful. I had the lamb one which was tasteless, tough and chewy, the saIad did not taste that fresh and my rice was very greasy. I only ate the flatbread in the end as that was ok. My partner had the Chicken kebab, that came with a mustard sauce. That kebab was very grey looking and had no flavour whatsoever and his chips were limp and not crispy at all. The mustard sauce (mayonnaise with mustard) made it edible for him, but still a disappointment. When collecting the plates, the waiter did ask if there was something wrong with the meal, and I explained that the meat was too tough and sinewy to eat, to be fair he did ask if he could get me something else, albeit with a reluctant tone, but as he had avoided us for some when we were trying to get his attention it was too late, we just paid the bill and left. We ate out every night whilst in Greece and the others were pretty good with some being excellent and I can honestly say this restaurant was by far the worst I have eaten in for a very long time. I would definitely...
Read moreAvoid this place like the plague. This isn't just a bad restaurant—it’s a masterclass in how not to run a business.
First, let’s talk about the owner: rude, condescending, and seemingly allergic to customer service. The moment we walked in, we were treated like an inconvenience rather than paying guests. He barked at us in front of customers and had the nerve to roll his eyes when we asked basic questions about the menu. You’d think we wandered into his private home uninvited, not his so-called "establishment."
As for the food—if you can even call it that—it was barely edible. For the outrageous prices they charge, I expected at least good food.
This place is the textbook definition of a tourist trap: overpriced, underwhelming, and designed to squeeze money out of people who don’t know better. Locals avoid it like the rest of us should.
Honestly, the only thing worse than the food was the owner's attitude. If you enjoy being insulted and served garbage on a plate, this place is for you. Otherwise, save yourself the money, time, and stomachache.
We see this place go bankrupt soon and it’s the owners fault. Such a great location for the worst business...
Read moreDo not go here. Cannot say one good thing about this place. From the moment we arrived at the front of the store in the afternoon for a quick bite and refreshment, we were met with attitude and pure rudeness. We were a more than accommodating group of 6, and as we sat our water came moping over to take our order. When we ordered only tzatziki and a gyro plate for a lite bite, along with 6 drinks, our waiter shrugged and proceeded to speak to my brother and I in Greek (we are greek) and said why are you here to only order that little food for a table of 6 you can’t do that. Being met with so much rudeness and distaste, we said we will leave then, were met with a shrug, and got up and left the restaurant. As a greek American, these staff and service are not what you should expect from Greece and does not represent the amazing service and kindness so many businesses bring to those visiting the city. What an embarrassment. Little did this waiter know we are a generous party that would’ve tipped generously and ordered far more had we had a good experience in our first interaction. I hope other tourists avoid this spot as it is not representative of greek...
