Nova Gea — Restaurant in Athens

This place is expensive considering small portions for their juice and smoothies. The problem we had here is their hygiene and attitude We ordered a couple of drinks including a mixed juice which required customers help to place the mug under a faucet where juice would come out. As we were having problem with placing it, a young employee came around to help but she dropped a rubber part of the faucet into our mug which already had some orange juice in it. After removing this object out of the mug, she attempted to reuse the orange juice which my wife now asked her not to. At this point, the older female employee/owner jumped in and blamed my wife for letting the rubber part to fall into the drink (which is NOT TRUE, the employee did) and said “first of all it was your mistake. You dropped it”. Not only she got offended when we expressed that we didn’t want to drink the now dirty juice, this lady also blamed the customer on something she didn’t even see. She tried to argue more, and we told her that even we dropped the object into the drink, they shouldn’t have used it. We’re talking about less than 1 ounce of orange juice here! This place has TERRIBLE staff. Their system of ordering was strange and the prices were extremely high. The juice puncher is also not cleaned in between uses.

When we first entered, we were trying to get out of the sun and to order refreshing drinks. Their menu was outside and when we asked for a menu when we were inside, the staff told us to go out to see the menu. He was extremely rude and said with a terrible attitude, “Do you know what you want to order or not?”

My family and I ordered one juice and one Greek yogurt. We ended up paying €16. Only a turn around the next block, there is a yogurt shop that sells with more reasonable prices.

As said before, their ordering and producing system is very confusing. After ordering, you wait wherever there is space in the shop. There are different confusing numbers and they are handed out to whoever is present. They will not communicate with you and are EXTREMELY rude.

It’s really expensive. Do you believe one order costs 8E including 6E for the juices and 2E for unreasonable jar??? That’s ridiculous. What happens if tourists buy one order of juice (8E), they drink it and what about that jar? throw it away??? That is not the way humans protect the environment! I came by and bought one order, when I used up all juice and I asked the lady that if I could buy one order with 6E then she can used again my jar, she said no. Then I throw it into the garbage bin, when I left, I saw her taking back that jar from garage bin to use that jar for the other customers. THAT IS RIDICULOUS DONT COME TO THIS STORE.
